This is a great family owned and operated yarn shop. The few times I've been in there, all three…read moregenerations of knitters have been there. So, this place has a lot of experience keeping it going. The wide variety of yarns will make you almost dizzy with delight. There are so many types of yarn and color variation. It's overwhelming, but in a good way. These are speciality yarns of high quality and as a result they are more expensive than yarn from big box stores. They have mohair and beautiful yarn from Australia, plus much more. This is not a shop where you can run in, buy a skein of yarn and run out. This is a place where you go and savor the experience of shopping for yarn. Drink in the beautiful colors, enjoy the music and conversation, contemplate the possibilities of your next creation and just escape from the rest of the world.

They sell guitars, vinyl records, graphic tee shirts, stuffed animals, assorted Legos, and my favorite, the mystery boxes! What I particularly enjoyed about 2nd & Charles was that they had all of the new titles and bestsellers, as well as a large collection of eclectic and vintage books that you could check out and peruse. They also offered you the opportunity to sell and trade books that you've finished, and had a section of books that were "lightly used" and highly recommended from previous readers. In addition, although I don't play video games myself, they had a nice collection of video games that were brought in from previous users, as well as a humorous assortment of t-shirts and office supplies that are sure to break the monotony of a regular office space. To conclude, 2nd & Charles was such a fun and unique store, which offered a dynamic combination of new and used books, music supplies, video games, and a range of other interesting miscellaneous items. I'm so glad that I stopped in, and while I don't really see myself becoming a "regular", I'll definitely be back in the future, and would recommend that anybody stop in if they're looking for a change of pace and exciting shopping opportunity!

Once you get inside, you're facing off against scalper-level pricing, confused employees, and an absolute unwillingness to perform any level of customer service. I'm tired of coming here for broken arcade games, jacked up sky-high prices, confused employees, and broken promises. This was truly the last straw, if this business has any sense of customer service, or integrity, I'd welcome them to reach out to me to make this right. Most of their selection is kept "in the back" where you can't obtain pricing without having them make a big production about the trouble they're going through. I called in asking if they had a specific product for sale, Riftbound (This is 11/5, Riftbound Released 10/31) I was informed they had product, and plenty of it at $6 per booster pack. I drove out to the store, excited, only to arrive at the store to be told that they were not allowed to sell any product until tomorrow, and I should come back. I told them I understand that the event is tomorrow, but I called in, spoke to someone, drove all the way down to the store, could we possibly come to an arrangement where I'd be allowed to buy a limited number of packs, or pay today for pickup tomorrow? The answer was no, and that if I wanted product, despite being told to come down, that they had it available, was that I would have to come back, pay for the pre-release event and then maybe they'd be able to sell me product. The last event I attended here was a catastrophe, nobody knew what was going on, it started late, the whole event was a haphazard mess. Let me go on further to state that I went to a pre-release event at their competitor, The Side Deck, and not only did that go over great, I was treated like a customer, a friend, even, I felt welcome, I was sold product (limited, but I understand that.) The pre-release was organized, friendly, and a great experience. Short of this business taking a chance to reach out to someone who used to be a very valuable customer, I can't do it anymore, I am tired of the hassles, the confusion, and being dragged out for nothing. I will be updating this review one week from today (11/12/25) to let people who see this know whether or not the store reached out to make this right - if they choose to do so, awesome, this will be updated, and I will accept that accidents happen to the best of us, and fences can be mended. The right thing to do would've been to offer to sell me a limited amount of product. (I understand if there is a release coming, product can't be sold in bulk, but selling a few boosters would've been the right answer.)

I was totally blown away by the amount of board games, war games, RPG's, and TCG's they had available. Not to mention a ton of accessories and expansions. Also, a wide selection of collectibles (my wife might not shop for board games, but she'd love the Jim Shore figurines). Everything was very reasonably priced as well. I wish I lived closer because the space for gaming was huge, and the staff was extremely polite and friendly as well. I'll definitely be back!

Disappointing experience and customer service at this Miniso location in Columbiana Centre Mall…read more Was in this location today with my nieces, and we decided to pop in. Since one has an upcoming bday and she saw a character she likes, I told her to pick out some items. This gray Kuromi neck pillow was in two distinctly different locations... several at the front of the store on a table marked $12.99 and even more at the back of the store in a tubular display stand also marked $12.99. In both displayed locations there were multiple of the same exact neck pillows displayed for that price of $12.99. When I go to check out the price scanned is different and higher than what was displayed in both sections of the store. The lady at the register with a very nice/nasty attitude wouldn't honor the price that they had displayed in more than one location. I didn't get her name but she was an older woman. I was already on line she had me wait while she checked out another customer to then leave the register and retrieve a totally different item that was not displayed in either location to scan and show me that it scanned for the $12.99. However, like I stated that was not the item displayed nor was it the item my niece picked out. I asked to purchase the Gray Kuromi neck pillow for the price that was clearly advertise in both location in the store and she said that it was associate error. My reply was if it was just one pillow in one location maybe but the same price in two different locations of the store with multiple of the same pillow? As a customer the price should be honored, she refused and begin to get indignant with me. So I left the item there. This was a learning lesson for my 12yr old niece and we will not be back. If you are not treated fairly they don't deserve your dollars. I will be ordering her neck pillow online from another retailer. Just A Note: I will never beg to spend my $$ with a company and first impressions hold a lot of weight.
