I was in the other day and heard conversations between people that I've only dreamed of. The owner is one of the most kind and authentic people I've ever met, not to mention she's a beekeeper and upstanding member of our community. I have yet to take one of the art classes, or meditation classes or host of other classes they offer but that's on my short list of things to do. Here's HIVE. (Where amazing people swarm :) ) Hive is a stationary and gift shop but they also have classes, art collectives, moments of great conversation and one of the coolest atmosphere's in Gastonia. My husband has quickly learned, that any gift for me purchased from Hive is a great idea. He went in last September for an anniversary gift and received the best service from Merryman (owner). You can find all sorts of cool stuff in here and the items are constantly changing. Soaps, books, cards, hand-stamped stationary and custom stationary if you're so inclined. If you're looking for wedding invitations, this is your place. Local honey...it's here too. One of the amazing things I also love about this place, are the window displays.
