I purchased balloons for my daughter's birthday a month ago. While the girl was filling the balloon's my anxiety was spiking because I was sure she was filling them too much and they would pop before we set up the party. But being me, I didn't say anything and let her do her thing. Well jokes on me because a month later those balloons are still floating on my ceiling at home. Well deserving of five stars. We were clueless into how we were going to hang our two Canvas paintings. We asked Lisa who was busy working on another project in the frame area. Lisa was kind as she walked us to where the perfect frame would be to mount the paintings. She mounted the pictures taking such great care securing everything in place. Lisa took the time to explain the differences and each step finding and mounting paintings in the future that size. Our experience was customer service at its best. I believe I am giving this store 4 stars is because of the people. The ladies that work here have been very helpful and pleasant whenever I check out. The store is a bit overwhelming but that is any craft store that I shop. They all tend to have the organized-messy look. But I have found some great finds in this store particularly when I was buying my new house. I found nice canvas items that had words of wisdom and my favorite clock I have ever seen. Its one of those oversized clocks. It matches my farmhouse style home very well. I waited for weeks for it to on sale. And when things go on sale here you save a ton. If you ever have questions regarding price of an item, the checkout ladies have no problem scanning things for you. I have seen on several occasions, where they open up lines when 3 or more people are having to wait. That doesn't happen everywhere. Keep up the good work. read more

Probably one of my favorite stops when I venture to Gastonia. I always find something "I need" there and typically it is on sale and if not I use a coupon!! The employees are always friendly and helpful when I have questions. The selection is pretty good (at least for items I typically purchase.). No complaints here. So, the first time I visited the new store I did not like it at all. However we visited last weekend and I have just started using Cricut. Too my surprise the Cricut items were 50% off I was beyond thrilled. So we went back today and even though they were out of several items I am getting use to the new store. I was a huge fan of the old store. My suggestion would be to have a class for Cricut Newbies.... I asked when we checked out and the lady said no. The customer service was not as great as it should be and what you would expect. read more
