We were greeted immediately and enthusiastically by a beautiful little Sheltie and then by the owner soon after. She was very helpful. I had previously written down options for the pattern I'm using and she helped my find exactly what I need. While she wound my yarn we looked around and tried to befriend her dog (unsuccessful). This shop is pretty nice. It is in an old building, is well-lit, and is well stocked. Prices are comparable to prices I've seen at other local yarn stores. I would definitely recommend McNeedle's and would definitely shop here often if I lived in the area.

They are always able and willing to give an opinion, help get you out of a tough spot on your current challenge, or help select that perfect project. Although I live too far away to attend any of the monthly class offerings, I have attended the annual Yarnover event where they bring in a big name designer/teacher for the weekend. That event is totally awesome and what makes it so wonderful is Pam and her team going above and beyond !! Unlike the LYSs that come and go, this one is here to stay! What is the difference, you ask?
