The two technicians showed up on time yesterday (promised 9-10 AM) after sending an "on our way" text). They recommended using the pleated filters instead of the blue fiberglass variety. He had a 20"x25" pleated filter in the truck that was a little long for our space. So, he took a pair of shears, chopped off just enough, and used the cardboard form cleared of material to put a border back on! Voila! Another service was cleaning the fins (?) on the outdoor compressor. After turning off the power outside, he used a hose to flush out the accumulated detritus in the unit. Our system is back to working great again! I had a chance to speak with one of the brother/owners, Paul, this evening, to share my feedback on the service call. Sounds like a very nice guy. I've tried multiple times over the course of two years to work with this company. I give up at this point. Chad -- that's a lie. They said they would call back and provided no options for scheduling. They informed me. The system at all and would have to call me back. Check your records. Did you have a system malfunction on the day that I sent you that I had called and spent two minutes on the phone with your staff? And that was the second attempt to contacting your office. There's an email that has not been reply to which you can also check your records on. Your staff is not only worthless, but they're liars. Hire legitimate staff. Your office team has been worthless since day one. I'm not high demand... I just expect to NOT be verbally assaulted by your tech, left with a massive pile of haphazardly placed wires, to get on the schedule the first time I contact not the third time a month later after being ignored for four weeks , and not be attempted to be extorted because your tech found some keys on the sidewalk. Instead of the $100 they asked me for, I gave them some cold drinks to take with them. That would be the shorter guy who serviced my hvac. I should have dropped you on the first sign of trouble and giving away free hours to manger bad service isn't good business. It's pathetic. Nice try defending yourself. First, there was no permit pulled for the inspection of the the final installation and still has not been. The heat failed to work proper first because the gas had not been turned on to the unit. Knew the unit had some type of oil build up that needed to be burned off, which ended up smoking throughout the house. The electrician harness kept shorten out and needed to be replaced. Then the circuit board needed to be replaced. The gasline and P-trap was not properly installed the first time and had to be re-done. Overall my experience with this company was been subpar. Still waiting for that inspection! Avoid like the plague!

I got a response from about 5 HVAC companies with three with estimates for their service. I chose them for being the first to response with a reasonable estimate and I called to set up an appointment that will work around my work schedule. They were able to work with me to provide a good date to come out and do their service. The day of the appointment, the tech called me that he was on his way within the appointed time. He did show up early and he did his HVAC service in a reasonable amount of time, about 15 to 20 minutes. He told us what he did and I paid exactly what I was quoted in the estimate, plus tax of course. I passed on to him to add me to their 6 month preventative maintenance schedule to do our AC service in the Spring. Overall a great experience with this company as the tech was friendly but professional.

I felt like they were inappropriate, so I called #1 to review the "other" companies work. They were able to point out the flaws that would block my new heat pump from being green-tagged. It was 42 degree at night and even my dogs who rarely complained kept shaking to keep themselves warm and we all cozied up with huge blankets in the bed..because the temperature dropped so low. BakerHouse Service Co…read more We contacted Daniel at BakerHouse Service Co for A/C servicing Jan 21, and Daniel scheduled us for next day, Feb 22. We have been here 6 years and the house is 18 years. We've never had our A/C, furnaces, and fireplaces checked so we were doing preventative maintenance and ensuring our systems are not producing carbon monoxide. Daniel got on our roof and checked both A/C units. We had a broken switch, broken contact, and 3 capacitors that were below spec. Replaced with new parts and both units working properly. We also requested to check both of our furnaces. No carbon monoxide and again capacitors below spec, replaced and both units working properly. Daniel checked both gas fireplaces, no carbon monoxide and he showed us on how to turn them both on. Lastly Daniel drained our water heater. We are very pleased with Daniel's work. We are greatly relieved that our major HVAC systems, fireplaces, and water heater are all working great and we are grateful we now have an honest and very capable HVAC systems contractor we can rely on. David, the tech, was very knowledgeable about a lot of things. Including that the city had to be called out to shut off the water valve at the street since it was rusted closed. Thankfully that didn't add to the price at all. I'm not really familiar with how plumbing is supposed to work today, but I certainly am not a fan of everyone charging a fee just to show up and look at your problem to give you a price. I think that practice is BS. But it seems like everyone is doing that now. Would I use them again? Sure. They got the job done quickly.
