During the hiring process, I was told bonuses were available, but my experience did not align with those expectations. The compensation structure relied heavily on bonus potential, and while the KPIs appeared achievable on paper, I found them to be unrealistic in practice. Expectations were consistently high, often with aggressive timelines that made meeting them difficult. Long work hours were frequently expected. Communication was one of the biggest challenges. Questions often went unanswered, training was limited, and the office was disorganized. I also experienced situations where conversations I had with leadership were later characterized differently than I remembered, and discussions that I believed were positive were later used against me. Because of those experiences, I strongly recommend documenting important conversations and following up verbal discussions with an email so there is a written record. Overall, I found the lack of communication, inconsistent expectations, and poor organization created a stressful and, in my experience, toxic work environment.
