It's not very big compared to others I've been in, so I feel their supplies are a bit limited. I mostly do watercolor and their selection is definitely smaller than other places. They also only restock "When they get a chance". So they often have a lot of empty spots that they claim they've places orders for. I don't know, maybe it's true, but their answers are wishy washy at best and always leave me skeptical. Prices tend to be MUCH higher in store than online. They'll give you a bit of a run around about whether the item with shipping from online will be cheaper than buying in store then supposedly give you the cheaper price. Yeah.... calling BS on that for multiple reasons and thru multiple purposes. Staff is a bit hit or miss. There are a few folks there who are great and knowledgeable, but the rest? Eh. he rest literally know NOTHING about their products and really don't seem interested in knowing. Which baffles me a bit. And since they are very clearly not trained in basics (pencil hardness for instance), you have to take anything they say with a grain of salt. This is a place where if you now what you want or need, then you'll probably going to be ok and find something, but perhaps not a specific item. But if you are going for guidance, then you might be in trouble. Thankfully when I started my art journey a few years ago I was close to a Jerry's Artarama and their staff was always on point. I learned a LOT from them.

I found 3 burl wood mirrors for 75% off, so they ended up not being $37 a piece, a total steal! We got home and my husband discovered they had a thin strip of burl wood on the outside, but I can't say much as they were so low in price and the look is still there. The new owners use an automated phone system that makes it impossible to speak with a staff member, leading to an endless game of phone tag. It took over a week to get a crucial anti-anxiety medication refilled for my dog. On top of that, they demanded a new physical for my other dog's arthritis medication--a mere two months after their last exam--after another week of unanswered calls. If your pet's health is a priority, I urge you to find care elsewhere.

Dr Fink is the best veterinarian I've ever been to. He's obviously great with animals and cares a…read moregreat deal, but I was particularly impressed when I first took my new miniature pincher (who was very nervous aggressive at the time.) I was pretty afraid it would be a terrible experience and someone would get bitten, but Dr Fink immediately won his trust and was able to do the exam. So even though it's absolutely nowhere close to my house, I'm happy to drive out of my way to go here. To make things a little more convenient, you can bring in your pets for an early morning exam and then pick them up later in the day (they also do boarding and grooming). And make sure to ask about the multiple pet discount.

From making a reservation, picking out our ceramic plate, choosing colors and a design, and then waiting about a week while they glazed and fired it. They even gave me a call when it was ready for pickup. We made a "Cookies for Santa" plate and it turned out so cute. The staff was incredibly helpful, too. We struggled to get a good baby handprint, and one of the employees suggested doing a footprint instead, genius and way easier! I'll definitely be coming back!

We ended up creating a candle this time to have a gift for Christmas (ceramic painting takes about 14 days). The kids loved picking out colored wax and the scent. So interactive.
