And to top it off, the women who worked in the jewelry part of the store found the appropriate chain, jump rings and strung all the crosses. I had assumed that I would get the supplies and spend the afternoon making necklaces. I was wrong, now I can admire the handiwork of others. At Home Goods, I found lots of options for indoor and outdoor planters and stands. They have lots of plush throws and pillows, home decor, bath accessories, bedding, and more. Prices are good. Like any store, quality varies by brand. Marshalls is the clothing side. I don't care for it so much, because it has a less organized feel. There aren't necessarily multiples of items in different sizes, so you just hope you can find things you like that fit you. That can mean extra time trying things on, or searching racks hoping to find that piece in a different size. I did pick out some $10 sunglasses. Time to check out. Holy crap! There were at least 25 people in the queue. While we waited for 5-6 cashiers to process us, we were herded like cattle through aisles of low priced goods. Impulse shopping opportunities everywhere. Cocktail napkins, candy, curling irons, earrings, hair accessories, phone cases, home decor accessories, toss it in your cart! My cashier was very nice and fast, too. I'm sure I'll go back to HG, but not on a weekend. She said every weekend they have long lines, and they never have sales.
