I love that I can still do that at the LampLight! I'm new to throwing clay pots and at my first time at the LampLight, I was surprised that it wasn't as easy as it looks, even with the fine equipment. DaySpring offers flexibility, respect for families and family time, and a homey environment in contrast to factorylike government-run schools. Students are treated as individuals rather than inmates. It has far less conformity and bullying than what manifests in public/private schools. Teachers and staff LOVE the kids and they LOVE what they do. DaySpring cannot be all things for all people, but it is more tolerant and inclusive than other education contexts and more professional than co-ops.
