There are no signs . No one says please sign in over there. They just do their best to ignore the customers lining up for service . The staff never makes any eye contact. There are no signs the there is an electronic sign in. I asked the pink haired employee to cut the piece of foam I chose to 13 by 33. She cut it 33. And just handed it to me . When I asked her to cut it to13 she said "we only make 1 cut ", As if she was deaf when i told her the size i needed at the onset of the transaction. Clearly passive aggressive. The sign of bad management. This was my 3 rd trip to this store in 2 days. The first experience was equally frustrating . I was standing waiting at the cutting table for the employee to finish with the person in front of me. She left (also frustrated) and he then started putting away cut fabric scraps back onto a bolt. He never looked at us thought we had been standing behind the previous customer . When i said i think we were next he said theres a sign in . I said clearly we missed that. He knew we were next and said "well i guess i can wait on you" . I told him I wanted 3 yards of each. There was 3 inches extra on 2 of the bolts. He asked if i wanted it , i said nope so he cut it off. What a waste. If hed have offered me a discount id have bought it . Comical. Clearly there are no managers here. Customer service is not a goal. Nor is employee morale. Every person working there looked sooo unhappy and un interested in helping each other or customers.

She knocked on the door and saw three workers exiting. When she asked if she could use the bathroom, one of the workers rudely replied, "No, we're cleaning it." After that, the three workers left, and no one was cleaning the bathroom. Another customer approached us and shared that they had experienced the same situation with their child. Apparently, the workers use this tactic before closing the store to prevent customers from using the bathroom before they close and avoid having to clean it. To make matters worse, at the checkout counter, the cashier girl was extremely rude. She threw our bags and had a nasty expression on her face. Overall, this location is terrible.

They frequently have sales with drastic price cuts. Their canvases were recently 70% off! You can get a credit card with an immediate 20% discount and it has built in discounts on everyday items. They have an app with a great reward system (you can have rewards without the app, but the app really simplifies everything.) The sales staff is always friendly and helpful. Their framing department is second to none. Framing is much more expensive than Hobby Lobby, but you truly get what you pay for. Most of my Hobby Lobby frames have looked cheap and one even fell apart. Michael's did an incredible job on helping me make decisions and then framing my deceased dad's military shadow box. I highly recommend Michael's.
