That said, I can't deny the variety they offer. No matter what craft you're into whether it be sewing, quilting, painting, home decor, seasonal projects, etc. Hobby Lobby seems to have just about everything imaginable under one roof even if it may be extremely challenging to find/the layout of the store wasn't great... While I'd prefer to shop elsewhere when possible, I can see myself returning if I'm in a pinch or need something specific. I can admit it's a convenient option. It's slightly disorganized though; some of the items in the aisles aren't really consistent with the "theme" (e.g. art supplies with the bathroom-related items). The clean upscale discount store has offerings that will have you returning over and over again, especially on Tuesday when new stock arrives, hence the name Tuesday Morning. You might have a question, but you're stuck, waiting, until they're good and ready to address you? And your inquiry is even brief, but you must wait? This is what it feels like taking a "class" at ArtYard - it's really more like you're renting the studio space for six weeks, which if you had acquired the necessary skills would be fine. I expected an attentive teacher walking around offering encouragement, tips and advice to students, and rooting them on, like the substitute that was there once, he was amazing! However, you must simply wait for a break in the conversation, say please, and not chew gum in class if you'd like help. Or to keep from idling, ask another student for help. One can be talented at what they do, but not have the heart of a teacher. (And yes, I understand that there is a certain amount of trial and error to creating art such as pottery: figuring things out, making your own mistakes, trying, trying again. I get that. I am a designer for a living.) Contacting the instructor - via phone, email or text - was unpredictable, you may or may not get a response. Sadly, I got to the point where I could take "the attitude" no longer: frustrated, upset, and humiliated, I walked out of the second class, and didn't return. And no one with the heart of a teacher would allow that to go unnoticed. But they did.

Most embroidery shops only do 12+, bulk buys, so I wasn't expecting anyone to be able to execute what I was asking for. Until I called Stitch Witchery. They got me in that day, gave sound expertise on what would look best color/print-wise on my gift (I'm clueless when it comes to this stuff), & treated me as well as they would've any other customer, no matter how small my order was. Kevin & Darlene have been at this business for about 40 years, and it shows. They handle their business with tact, professionalism, & a down-to-earth feel. It was a pleasure to meet them & have them in my corner in creating this gift. My friends are going to love these! This space is on the side, no Main Street facing storefront. However, once you find it, and park your car (in the large easy spaces they have), you will be thrilled. First, Freddie (Frankie?) will meet you at the door. She's (yes, she, name notwithstanding) a fabulously beautiful dog. Midsize and super friendly. You don't have to be a dog lover to appreciate her. Once inside past her "gate" the space is surprisingly large. Lots of material on display and then a large room in back with all sorts of quilts and quilters. The quilts were on the wall and the quilters at the table. It seemed like a friendly group. The material is displayed mostly by color, but there is a "fun pattern section" too. I was there to pick up a "row by row" pattern for someone. They have them behind the counter waiting to be asked for. If I were a quilter Id come back here for sure. I may come back to get some material for pillows we are making for the outside furniture.

The attendant at the customer service counter went to the back to get my eggs, but it was taking a while, people started to line up. I was wondering why with only one item it was taking so long. He finally showed up saying he checked the eggs and there were some broken ones so he had to replace them. I joked I thought he had to go find the chicken! He said he almost said that. But joking aside, I really appreciated that he took the time to check the eggs. I would open and check, too, before I leave. But he did it for me. It is good to know this Target employee was customer focused! I had a bad experience once with ordering a bottle of hair tint, before I got into my car I decided to look and found the bottle leaking, the tint was all over the bag. I had to return it. That was such a messy situation.

Their cartwheel program means you can find some real bargains. They implement their mask policy. They also try to make sure everyone stays six feet apart and limit the lines that you're in. They wipe down the areas where you cash yourself out. They also have online order and pickup. It's a godsend if you don't want to go inside. They bring your order right out to your car and load it in the backseat or trunk for you.
