I haven't been here in a long time but it hasn't changed much. I usually check out the foods and kitchenware sections in this chain. This location was fully stocked and ready for Easter. Tons of rabbits to be found. Easy parking. 3 stars for this large chain. I default chains to 3 stars as they must be A-OK to expand as they have. read more

After checking at s couple of different stores we decided to check Home Goods when searching for some new shower curtains and a shower caddy. Some of the other stores didn't have much of a selection or prices were a bit higher than I was willing to pay or both. I ended up finding exactly what I wanted here at a reasonable price. Large store with quite an assortment of items. The type of place where I always seem to find something, sometimes things I didn't know I wanted or needed. Only complaint here is their checkout line. It winds back and forth a few aisles before allowing you to get anywhere near the front of the store. And always seems to have a line. Small price to pay though if you can find what you're looking for. No pictures today. 2921-119 read more

Was in the area and decided to stop by and see if they had a nice accent table to go along with my accent chairs I have. I was lucky to find a very unique table that matches perfect with what I got. I was so excited to have finally find a table. They have a lot of unique items you won't find anywhere else here. Totally worth looking all over and down every little aisle. read more

I needed to kill some time between appointments today and decided to explore a HomeGoods store for the first time. I would compare it to an upper-class Marshall's. The inventory was lovely and diverse. The had some good deal on clearance. Most aisles, particularly in the garden and dishware areas, were extremely narrow. For this reason I gave 4 stars, and not 5. The staff were extremely friendly. I was never asked if I needed assistance, but the cashier was very nice. The customers were rude - but this is at no fault of the store. read more

I found a lot of neat house-decorating items here! It's a lot more organized than Tuesday Morning (located a couple shops away) and seems to carry items that are in better condition and better quality. They don't carry a lot of mats or rugs, but great place to find things like frames, kitchenware, cushions, and organizers. read more

Very disappointed with this location and the way they mishandled a return. We bought a 4 pack of placemats at the Orchard Park location and upon returning home realized they were packed with only 3. Having to run errands to the North towns, we decided to go to the Transit Road location. Homegoods own return policy online says "As always costumers come first at Home goods. If you are at all unhappy with your purchase, return it to HomeGoods for a full refund within 30 days" Well upon arriving at this location we were told that we couldn't because it was "Orchard Park locations inventory". Now do you support the products you sell at HomeGoods Transit Road location only? The customer service rep basically said we should've opened the package and counted it, or that Orchard Park failed in doing the same!! This I feel is, A. A blatant disregard for customer service. B. Not supporting the HomeGoods name and the statement made by the company itself!! C. Not backing the other locations, or the manufacturer in fixing and obvious mistake that no one noticed D. Actually blaming the customer for the issue! E. Forcing us to drive 25 miles back to the Orchard Park location to get our refund. I will never go to this location again, as well as try to avoid HomeGoods altogether. read more

Walk into most stores today and you will find it difficult if not impossible to find someone to help you. Good customer service seems to be a thing of the past. This is not the case when shopping at HomeGoods located on Transit Road in Williamsville. On every visit to this store we always find that special item we are looking for but are also treated to exceptional service. We recently purchased a piece of furniture and Karen the manager on duty rolled up her sleeves to insure it was loaded without any problems. She along with Jonathan assisted in insuring it was ready to be transported and unloaded without damage at our home. Customer service must be instilled in all employees as they seem to go out of their way to assist customers. It is always worth a visit to this unique store. read more

I hate to shop. It was with great reserve that I set foot in HomeGoods, but we needed a large rug for the family room. After a deep breath, in we went. Turns out it's a part of the T. J. Maxx, Marshalls, Sierra Trading Post family, which frankly I avoid. But inside, although quite bustling, the place was well organized. From the entrance, I spotted the sign for Rugs on the wall to the right. And they were displayed like a gigantic story book, you turned the "pages" and could see the next rug. Bam! Saw just the one. Bam! Saw another one. Hailing a helper was fairly easy, although no associates were merely walking around to assist, as they were engaged in a variety of tasks, they were happy to help if asked. The young man pressed buttons to release the rug we wanted and carefully rolled it up and taped it, and then carried each one to the front of the store for us. The prices were very competitive, after having looked at several rugs. One of them was even 100% wool. Both are plush and lovely. You get a 10% discount (kind of measly compared to most stores that offer 20%) and no six (or 12) months to pay, like other stores. Overall, it was a good experience as shopping goes. read more

love the entire TJMAXX chain of stores but Home Goods and Homesense are by far my favorites and this location doesn't disappoint

I couldn't wait for this Homegoods to open, since it's on my regular shopping circuit, being next to my neighborhood Wegman's and Target. As is true with all Homegoods, this place is a treasure trove of great finds. They have everything from fancy olive oils and spices to dog toys and beds to furniture to knick knacks to smart phone gadgets. I came in today to browse after lunch at Panera. Found a really cute iPhone cover and a dog toy for my pups. They had a lot of decent clearance, furniture included. Compared to regular TJMaxx and Marshall's, I think the prices here are high. It's still a pretty new store so maybe that has something to do with it. I feel like in the older stores, there are more hidden treasures (and cheaper prices!) to find. read more

Don't come in here without a list! You'll start buying items you want but simply don't need! I absolutely love this store simply because their prices are competitive and the quality is great. They're items are a bit disorganized and all over the place, but I think it's intentional. The good items are usually to the left of the store right as you walk in. Highly recommend this store if you're doing some home shopping! read more

This is one of my favorite stores! Especially now that I have my own place to decorate. I've never had a bad experience with Homegoods and all of the employees are always helpful and happy. I use to go to the location on Niagara Falls Blvd until I realized this location is close to where I work and has a lot more to choose from in my opinion. It's always very organized and easy to find things. I purchased a large piece of furniture here a few months ago and everyone involved with the purchase and holding it for a week until I could get there to pick it up was fantastic. I use my TJMaxx card most of the time so I can rack up the rewards. I love that they have this program! The quality of the products they have here are the best. I also always love their Christmas card selection and have bought my cards from here the last few years. read more

This is a nice HomeGoods in terms of quality of items and organization. It isn't quite as big as some of the other ones, but the merchandise that they have is usually a little higher end than some other HG locations and it is in good shape. They have a lot crammed in here and it can get a little crowded to get around with carts and a lot of people. In the last year, I have really gotten some nice stuff here. I scored a really nice teal folding metal shelf cart that was in perfect shape, but on clearance with some others of other colors that were a little beat up. Also found some large and substantial curtain panels that would have been probably $40-50 a piece in other stores for about $16 for a set of two (and they had 3 sets which I needed). Just a couple weeks ago, I got a matching set of contemporary metal floor lamps with very cool rectangular shades. Hard to find pairs of stuff and the lady at check out said they were just put out on the sales floor that morning. $60 a piece for unique, brushed nickel lamps with expensive shades. They have a lot of more higher end furniture here. I stopped by 2 weekends ago and they had at least 5-6 large couches in the $500-700 range while other HomeGoods stick more to accent furniture. Sales associates are very friendly here. I have seen them help people look for something specific they saw a few days ago (bad idea to wait, stuff goes fast!), check in the back, arrange for things to be placed in cars, etc. I don't find something every time I go here, but when I have, it has been a score! read more

Strictly a store for.....well, home goods. The cleanest, most well organized Home Goods I have ever step foot into. I mean, literally, upon entering, you have an immediate vision of china and glasses that are organized, not just throw about in random areas of the aisles like I find in most Home Goods/ TJ Maxx/ Marshalls stores. They have a great selection of pots, pans and skillets, an entire aisle devoted to glass ware, again all organized so you don't have to worry about stepping over boxes in the middle of the aisles, etc. This sounds like common sense, to have a clean store, but it is rarely the case with these stores. They have tons of candles and reasonably priced photo albums. This is the ONLY store where I am able to find old school photo albums, without that space to write in captions. Do people not print actual photos anymore? Sometimes I don't want to write, "Grandma in the pool." or "Walking the dog." next to my photos, I just want spaces for photos! Well, they have them here, and have TONS of different fabric designs for only $16. One thing I will never understand, and this is one of the reasons why I am not giving the place 5 stars, their clearance aisle. The stuff is ALL broken or scratched and not heavily discounted. It boggles my mind that they think somebody is going to walk in and buy a broken picture frame for a 10% discount. Get out of town, no way. They should donate those items to the salvation army or something, don't sell them in your store, it brings their reputation down a lot in my book. read more
