Updated review. I have used Michele to buy and sell my homes for a total of 3 times now. I will never use Michele again because she is money driven and does not look for the greater good of her clients. Rewind time about 5 years ago when my husband and I were young and we just had given birth to our baby. Michele boasts she is family oriented and her work ethic is for the good of her clients. However, the home we were looking to buy was built in 1953 flat roof with tar and rocks as the roof. Michele ordered our home inspection a man who just briefly looked over our entire home and said it was pretty much good to go. I understand as new home buyers, you should do some research before buying a home and being Michele's client definitely was an example. The next rain season, our roof had major issues and was leaking. When I hired a roofing company to take a look he was appalled how our roof passed inspection. I asked Michele who stated the report said the roof only required some new rocks on certain areas. Fast forward this year, we were buying another home and this time my husband's parents were involved. Michele ordered a thorough home inspection but only requested the seller to fix the mandatory issues. When we moved in, the home was still filled with the old owner's junk. Michele told my father in law she would get him a Home Depot card to fix all the other issues with the home. However, she sent us a box of fruit. Michele was unable to answer me when I asked several times why she only ordered a visual inspection of roof. She never advised us or helped us to obtain a thorough roof inspection of our older home. The roof damages were over $20,000 and we sold that home at a lot lower value. I believe Michele intentionally did not order a thorough roof inspection as young, ignorant first time home buyers, we would give her a sale. I find it hard with Michele's time and experience as a realtor, she would over look or forget to order a thorough roof inspection. read more

Michele was an absolute pleasure to have as our real estate agent throughout our entire selling and buying experience. My wife and I just closed on our first house less than a month ago and Michele was a pleasure to work with through the entire process. We needed to move quickly because the lease on our apartment was up in less than sixty days, and Michele got to work right away. We called her up on Saturday morning and she immediately setup appointments to show us a few houses the very next day. We ended up really liking one of the house she showed us, so we made an offer on Monday afternoon. We were competing with one other offer and Michele suggested that make an offer at asking price. She was spot on because the other offer was $1K under asking and they sellers accepted our offer at asking. 25 days later, we closed! Michele's best asset is her communication. She was great about keeping us in the loop with emails, text messages, and phone calls at every step. We ran into several issues with the sellers while we were in escrow, but Michele was always available to offer outstanding advice about how to handle the various situations that came up. The seller's agent was a real pain the ass to work with, but Michele remained positive and professional throughout the process. We didn't have the best financing when we linked up with Michele, but she worked with us never the less. when we realized it was keeping us from making offers on houses that we would have otherwise been able to get into, she connected us with a good mortgage broker, a better interest rate and more flexibility around our loan terms. I found Michele on Yelp about 3 months ago. I called her and didn't know what to expect. She called me back very quickly and within a few hours I was looking at new listings, getting a pre-approval for a loan and she walked me through what to expect. She was on top of everything and was very upfront about what I could expect in a seller's market, what I could get with my budget and so on. Since I was new to the area, it was great that she new the neighborhoods and was able to tell me the pros and cons of each house. After only one month of looking, I found my house (after a little encouragement from Michele) and while the process drove me absolutely insane, she was there to handle the craziness, the paperwork, the emotions... all of it. I definitely recommend everyone to contact Michele for her service. I contacted her beginning of this year on many questions regarding the steps to sell my property in Tracy and she was available to answer all of my questions and concerns. I was not ready to sell it as I still have tenants occupying the property. Their lease was to be up in Oct. so Michele and I stay in touch till a few months before Oct was nearing. As a first time home buyer, I'd have to say that Michele made this a lot easier than what I thought it would've been. I really loved that I was able to ask her about anything from pet advise to loan questions. And I'm extremely glad she did! After dealing with my loan officer, she had asked me (extremely nervous to offend me) how comfortable I was with my current mortgage broker. The loan officer I had been dealing with wasn't as dedicated to me as I'd have liked. As a first home buyer, I wasn't sure if the attitude I had received from my loan officer was of the norm. Michele helped explain that to be confident with who I was dealing with could be a lot less stressful when it came time to the official home buying process. With the new broker, I had a more flexible loan with all the details spelled out for me and locked in right away. All of my doubts about my loan were gone!
