I liked that the massage was on time and they use foot covers before walking into the massage rooms. I was given a bottle of water and ear plugs to tune out from the game room next door. Thankfully I didn't need it. Sandy, my masseuse today was excellent. She recognized how tight I was and gave me the best therapeutic massage ever. The pressure was amazingly great. I did ask for a deep tissue massage. Whatever Sandy did today, relieved the pain in my calf and fixed plantar. The massage was purely magic, I was in pain when I entered and the pain simply dissipated in that 60 min massage. I was given another bottled water at the end of the massage. Sandy also explained what was going and how she fixed it. I am definitely going back, hopefully for some relaxation massage and not for under painful circumstances.

It ended up being far too intense for me, but I assumed I had simply chosen the wrong type of massage and decided to give the business another chance. For my second visit, I specifically booked a Swedish massage and requested light pressure, knowing the pressure had been too much the first time. Despite that, the massage therapist repeatedly used deep pressure, and I was visibly uncomfortable. Throughout the session, she asked if the pressure was okay, and more than a dozen times I asked her to lighten it. I repeatedly explained that it was painful and that I couldn't relax when the pressure hurt. Instead of respecting my request, she argued that a Swedish massage "wouldn't help my muscles." I wasn't there for a diagnosis or to be told what treatment I should receive--I booked a Swedish massage because my goal was to relax. That goal was completely missed because my repeated requests were ignored. On top of that, she asked me more than 10 times why I don't come in more often. I kept my answers short, and eventually stopped responding because I don't enjoy making conversation during a massage, especially when I'm repeatedly being questioned about my attendance. A massage should be a relaxing experience where the client's preferences and comfort come first. Ignoring repeated requests about pressure and continuing unwanted conversation made this experience incredibly disappointing. It was a waste of money, and I won't be returning.

Over the years, I've probably had massages from 15+ different therapists. Once I found Belinda I was so happy and continue to be happy with the quality of her services. She is professional and friendly, and her massages are great and consistent quality. And she clearly cares!
