Michelle is hands down the best photographer I've ever worked with in Northern California and the central coast. She fully listens to your ideas - most photographers just pretend to and then shoot what they were originally planning on shooting but Michelle genuinely hears out your idea and shoots what you want and makes it even better than you expected it to be! She's so sweet and fun and the shoots go by so quickly and easily because she's such a lovely person to be around. Wow! I hired Michelle for my wedding photography and I'm thrilled I did. I'm from San diego, but was planning my wedding in San Luis Obispo. Michelle photographed my engagement shoot as well as my wedding in 2013. She and her assistant Pete, did an AMAZING job, and captured SO many amazing moments! They tag-teamed the day, taking photos before, during and towards the end of the evening. She edits her photos in a way that makes the pics seem so bright, vivid and dream-like. I originally first hired Michelle to take my maternity photos 4 years ago. I was 19 and huge and scared to death of motherhood. I wanted to be in white and in nature and for the pictures to have the golden central coast glow that blesses this area in the spring. I hired Michelle to take my maternity photos. A friend at work told me to look her up. So I did and I fell in love with her style and how absolutley beautiful her photos were. During my awful pregnancy I was constantly complaining that I hadn't found "the glow" everyone said that I would have. So when I first talked to Michelle I explained I wanted to do the shoot outside, and around sunset, so the lighting would be perfect. I was so nervous because I was almost 8 months pregnant and I was HUGE! I was afraid I was going to look like a whale in the photos.
