Although Alexandra Jones is not an MD, she is a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), and I honestly wouldn't want anyone else as my primary care provider. I see specialists for basically everything, so having a primary who is compassionate, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and truly attentive is what matters most to me. She never makes appointments feel rushed, takes the time to really listen, and always makes me feel comfortable and cared for. It's also very easy to get an appointment when needed, which I really appreciate.

Went over results. Came up with a plan. She disappeared in her office for long stretches of time while you're in the exam room. I did everything we talked about and got another round of tests a 2 months later. I've now learner nothing much changes in 2 months and the second round of blood tests should have been a few more months later. Had the second round of test. I got all my results from Quest Diagonsits and needed things explained to me. I called and texted with the office multiple times to have a follow up appt. At first who ever was on the texts was quick to reply. They then disappeared and I never got a call back from my multiple messages left on the office line. I will not be going back. I shouldn't have to work so hard to have my primary doctor review tests results with me. Can not recommend Dr. Weiss.

Loved her after my first visit. 3-4 days later, she calls my Psychiatrist and my mother (no…read morerelease, just listed as emergency contact- I am an adult in my mid-20's) telling them I need to be admitted into hospital immediately, without seeing me, speaking to me, or examining me. The last person to receive a phone call was myself personally where she reiterates that I need to be admitted to the hospital immediately and that I need to be taken off of all my psychiatric medication immediately- for which she is not the prescribing doctor. After being hurried off the phone, I contact my mother and psychiatrist to try to figure out what on earth is going on. I speak to both of them, call her back, speak to her office staff and am assured she will return my call when done with her patient. She does not return my call. I go to my follow up today looking for an explanation for her actions- which she cannot provide. She offers a contradictory timeline of events and actions and says, "I deal with so many emergencies, it's hard to keep them straight." Her office staff rolled her eyes when my mother asked what the *** happened and gave the implication that this is a regular occurrence. She accused me of being an addict, having no judgment, and not knowing what I was talking about. Personally, I found her demeanor erratic, spacey, uninformed, and generally confused- perhaps like she was the one on too many drugs rather than me. Her actions led me to call into question not only her personal judgment but mostly her medical judgment. She promotes homeopathic remedies for psychiatric disorders which can only be managed by medication and offers medical advise outside her field of expertise. Additionally, as icing atop the cake, she was 45 mins late seeing me for my 1st appt and 25 for the second. Apparently this is her norm. For homeopathy, go see her. For real medicine, look elsewhere. I am seriously contemplating reporting her to the board.

Dr. Remenson took the time to explain the pro's and con's of all available treatments, which including life style changes, not just medication. We agreed upon a plan which over time brought my A1C level to within a normal range. Previous doctors labeled me with 'white coat syndrome' and never addressed my dangerously high blood pressure. Dr. Remenson took the time explained some possibilities of what could be causing it and a plan was designed to assist me in lowering my blood pressure. You would never of been able to tell physically what my body was doing on the inside and if it wasn't for Dr. Remenson's expert medical knowledge, patience and persistence for my medical care, I may not be here today. Myself, wife and daughter are eternity grateful for Dr. Remenson and her staff.

So the search began for a new Dr & being extremely picky and somewhat of a hypochondriac who has a need to Google everything, I needed to find someone who understood me. I bounced around a bit & I was never happy, that is until I met Dr. Alexandra Santini, M.D., FAAFM who is with the Personal Physician Care group. Not only does she accept my insurance but I feel she understood me; without thinking I needed to be baker acted with my obsession with Googling every symptom I have & then of course thinking I had some rare medical condition. The state of the art facility features in-house lab work, digital x-rays, EKG and echocardiograms. I had an EKG and it was so nice having it done right there in the office. I'm going back for lab work & the lab is just one door over. I love the convenience of having everything in one office. I didn't indulge, but there is a Keurig coffee maker in the waiting room & I overheard someone saying they have tea k-cups too. I found Dr Santini to be kind, caring and warm. Dr Santini also has a great personality and she made me feel very comfortable. It feels so good to have a new primary who I feel comfortable with. Checkout their website: www.ppcare.net. The receptionist was very helpful with my insurance, the nurse taking my vitals was friendly & making an appointment was easy because they actually answer the phone. The patient checkout person was relaxed and very friendly. She was juggling a few things at once yet she remained calm and always had a smile on her face. A real smile, not a fake one and I can tell. The beautiful thing about this office are the people who run it. Every person I encountered was warm and caring.

I have several major disabilities. I am an extremely respectful person, and Im not a complainer, but I will voice my opinion if I'm wrongfully disrespectEd. I caught Covid at the end of December. I had a fever for a couple of weeks (among some other symptom). The second day after I got the virus, I was in line for two hours at MD Now (Urgent Care) getting tested. After a week of having a fever I called Dr Santinis office and left a message with the Pa. After three days, ( on a Friday) the PA called me back to tell me that Dr Santini hasn't replied to my message yet. So I made a virtual doctors appointment. At the time of the appointment she telephoned me which in the past she made it a big deal to use virtual FaceTime through a physicians network. I explained to her what I had and testing positive and a controlled pain medication I've been on for many years not really keeping my fever at bay. She then blew up, and demanded to know who gave me that medication. She got very hostile. Then she said "Oh, I see your very heavy." (I am what I am, it's hard to lose weight when you can't move around very much, besides what does that even have to do with anything)? Then she said, if you feel you need an xray or anything else go to MD Now and get it, don't come here. And besides, it seems like your on the mend. She was making insults and she didn't even read my chart to see who I was, and why I take a lot of medications. I've been to her seven times, and each time I ask for a refill on my medication, it's like pulling teeth. Needless to say, I am switching to a different group of Doctors. Even if she was having a bad day, shouldn't you look into a patients chart before making accusations? I see the PPC business office reads these, but they seem to only reply to the positive reviews. She truly listens without rushing, takes the time to understand concerns, and makes you feel genuinely cared for. You never feel like just another appointment -- she is thoughtful, compassionate, and very thorough. It is rare to find a doctor who combines such strong medical knowledge with warmth and empathy.
