I keep forgetting to pay attention to the actual price to write it in a review, but I always remember that it is absolutely dirt cheap. I'm thinking somewhere in the $5 or less range. And they fill UP that small. I'm generally a "would order a banana split and eat it all myself" type of person, but the small does not leave me unsatiated. My combination of choice is cake batter fro-yo with pie cherries, Oreos, and cookie dough. They layer the toppings in, so it's not just piled up on top -- you get ice cream, toppings, more ice cream, more toppings, and a little dollop of ice cream artfully extruded right on top. And as a bonus, a note on the cookie dough: it isn't those little dry balls of dough you normally see at the self-serve fro-yo bars. It is the Pillsbury "eat or bake" (safe to eat raw) cookie dough that comes in the tub. They pull a giant tub out from under the counter and serve you a very generous scoop of it. Staff are nothing but friendly and helpful when I've been. Interior is super spacious and relatively clean -- tons of tables, and I've never touched something sticky.

The workers are always sweet, welcoming, and upbeat. The atmosphere feels very family-oriented and inviting, definitely the kind of place you'd stop by with loved ones when you're craving something sweet. I ordered a cake batter and Oreo swirled frozen yogurt with toppings, and it was so good. One thing I really appreciate is how much you get for your money. The portions are generous, and the prices are extremely affordable!

There is much competition in the area - Culver's and Dairi-o in particular in WS, add Freddy's in Greensboro and High Point. The individuals who opened the first DQ in 1941 had developed a version of soft serve, and that was the basis for DQ. DQ cannot call it ice cream because it doesn't contain the required butterfat ( this is your government watching out for you - do you feel protected?). While the food here has never been touted as great fast food, it has been around a long time & early on in the fast food trade, it has always been acceptable, at least in my experiences, and I have always liked a Blizzard. On this pop in I ordered a Chili Cheese Dog and a Blizzard. The dog was just ok, the chili here is on the weak side, but I've had worse. The blizzard was very nice, good treat.

She said…read moreyou can only use it through app. This sight does not take orders through app. Tried to explain. She kept interrupting me. I left, then went back and drove up to the window. I showed her the coupon in the app, at this point she just took my phone out of my hand and started scrolling. Why would you just snatch someone's phone out of their hand and start scrolling? Then she stuck the phone up in my face and said you can use this coupon. By then I was pissed. I said "That is not what you said" and again before I could say anything she started yelling over me. I drove off and yes I gave her the bird. Rude woman. I wrote the restaurant and got back an email saying I wasn't welcome at the restaurant because of my rude hand gesture. I wrote them back and told them I didn't think my rude hand gesture was the problem here. I would like to know who owns this restaurant so I don't do business with them anywhere else they might own. This isn't the first time this restaurant has been rude at the drive thru. Last time I just left. This time I thought management should know. They aren't concerned with their rude staff.

The eggs were cooked perfectly. The pancakes were almost a little bit corn or yellow, but really amazing. They didn't seem to be buttermilk pancakes, which was refreshing. The potatoes seemed just a little undercooked. Also, I had biscuit FOMO. I didn't get a biscuit but saw it on other people's plates and was so jealous. They're huge and look flaky and amazing. Ordering was easy at the counter, and our food came out really quickly. It had a nice small town locally owned diner feel. Also, they have a bunch of Mexican dishes available as well. I'll definitely pop in here again and get a non-breakfast dish. Super happy to have a nice little diner in our community!

For lunch, it's a solid burger and hotdogs. They also have crinkle fries which are not always easy to find. The staff are usually helpful and friendly. There's one person who usually seems like she doesn't want to be there. She's not there today. When the manager/ guy is there, it's great. He's great. He is personable and helpful. The diner is a diner. Booths and some tables and chairs in the back. This is self service. They have a lot of hot coffee for refills and a soda machine. This is a place where the locals come, so it's good. We love our breakfast around here.

The kids' meals come with a free custard, and there are plenty of opportunities for adults to earn free custard, along with separate rewards programs--one for kids and one for adults. Their codfish is excellent and remains crispy even when ordered to go, a quality that applies to all their fried foods. The butterfly shrimp are consistently delicious. They also offer made-to-order butterburgers and pub burgers with a variety of toppings. Among fast food burger joints, Culver's is the most accommodating, providing a wide range of food options for those who don't want a burger. They offer grilled and fried chicken breast, Reuben sandwiches, soups, seafood, salads, broccoli, corn dogs, chili, cheese, fries, pretzel bites with cheddar sauce, onion rings, and Wisconsin cheese bites--there are just too many choices to name, and they're all delicious! And don't get me started on the custard options! There's always a special of the day with extra toppings included for free. Kids' meals come with their choice of flavor plus one topping--even if they choose the special of the day, they can still add one topping! I cannot speak highly enough of the location on Pecan Lane just off Union Cross Road in Kernersville, North Carolina. The staff is incredible!
