It was kinda frustrating since I traveled from downtown Seattle to SeaTac on the bus which took about 2 hours. And the only reason I did was because of all the positive reviews. The atmosphere when I went there is very pleasant and professional. They cash all types of checks here with all types of ID. In my case they also had to verify the check was good and called the person who wrote it. So that is just a heads up. The cash payroll checks etc government checks I believe and also personal handwritten checks which is what I had. Which also was an out-of-state check. The lady I dealt with which unfortunately I did not get her name was very professional kind and efficient. They do charge a fee for cashing a check of course and it varies based upon the check itself- payroll personal etc. You can go to their website and they show their rates and what other types of services they do based upon your state that you're in because they have to follow the law of that certain state that they are licensed in. They also have brochures telling you what kind of services they have etc and I believe they also do Western Union and they sell stamps. I am very grateful that there is such a good check cashing place with no judgment. I would highly recommend going here to cash your checks if you don't have any other means to do so. They don't explain ANYTHING in terms you'll understand...I think it's because they don't understand them themselves. They allow zero leeway in your due date. The late fee is ridiculous. My interest rate is ridiculous. They charge most of the interest upfront so in two years it looks like I've only paid $1500 of the loan...I pay $408 per month! They also charge 15 dollars to pay with debit online. Customer service is not what they are there for! Would I recommend this company? Well...it depends on who's asking. Do you have shitty credit like I do? Are you lacking a bank account? Has everyone else laughed at you? If you answered yes to one or all of these questions, and you need a loan super d duper bad...then yes, I would recommend them. Otherwise, there are far better non conventional banks to get loans from. I really haven't had a problem because I pay on time. However, I have tried to make arrangements with them and they are pretty unwilling. If you have a problem with paying bills on time then I promise, you will lose your car, quickly! If you are fine to pay, you shouldn't have a problem with this company...other than they are pretty bad at explaining things and keeping you informed on your account. I called them today to ask a question and they put me on hold for ten minutes. I looked at my clock and realized they weren't even open anymore. I think they put me on hold and then left!!! The customer service was great considering the banks were about to close but they still provided excellent service for my Sister. If you owe money but you find yourself needing to cash a check they will allow you to pay a percentage of what's owed so you don't need to worry about walking out with little money.
