I was able to an affordable hair-cut, in a timely manner that turned out awesome. What guy wouldn't want their hair done with all that? Yes it is a little sketchy to trust a student to cut your hair, and i was hesitant. I just had free time and was in the area so i decided to try it out. It was one of the best decisions I made. I wanted to learn 40s waves (we did a set and in the back we did marcel) a ponytail and a rope braided bun. It was totally worth the money and then some. Beverlin was the one who did my daughter's haircut and took off the dead ends and left her hair more manageable. Riondra who specializes in braids/nails braided my daughter's hair. Diego is solid with his skills and did the brow split. Mrs. Rose walks and monitors the students as well as welcomes/departs. Ely was finishing up a color and customer was happy with the end result. I just started getting my hair cut not too long ago, so I had some trouble trying to describe what I wanted but Josh was flexible and patient and made sure to check in about the style all throughout the cut. As a woman, I usually feel slightly intimidated going into barber shops that tend to be male-dominated spaces, but this place had great and welcoming energy, from the moment I walked in. I appreciated being listened to by my barber and walking out feeling good without having spent too much money. Will definitely be back!
