My friend, Ashley V. won a gift certificate and subsequently got her brows touched up. She highly recommended them... When I made my appointment, I believe a $300 deposit was required. The total service for a full set of brows (first time) was $1,000. The pricing depends of which technician you choose. The highest level in the owner, but I picked Bella, who is one level below. When I arrived, I marveled at the beautiful space and gorgeous people. Everyone who works here has amazing brows, and so they are walking / talking advertisements. Jen, the receptionist, was very kind and patient for this first-timer. I paid the balance of $700 and finally met my brow artist, Bella. Bella is gorgeous! It's kinda intimidating but she's also super sweet and put me at ease. She explained every single step and took time to answer my questions. It's a process...I think I was there for close to two hours. Logistics: In 2023, the parking lot was $2.25 per every 30 minutes and not validated. Metered street parking was available but read the signs carefully. It has now been a year and a half and I can honestly say this has changed my life for the better! I came across Microblading LA through a private Yelp Event and they are such an awesome local business in the LA County Area. Location: They are located at the French Quarter of Woodland Hills Plaza on Ventura Blvd and Paralta Ave. Parking: You can either pay to park in the parking structure or there are street parking nearby. The staff: beautiful ladies with great artistic skills. The situation: Through the Yelp Event, I won a microblading prize with Sasha! When I reached out for my consultation, Sasha has been nothing but amazing and accommodating. Currently, I am taking Accutane (a very potent medication for my acne, and I can't really do any facial treatment). I have informed Sasha that I was on the medication, and she was very knowledgeable about the situation. She told me that I can still redeem my prize a year from now since it takes a year for my skin to heal from the medication. Overall: I was very sad to hear that I have to wait a whole year, but I figured it will be a delayed gratification. Lindsey, the owner, has done an outstanding job in creating a studio where clients can have the brows they've always dreamed of and students can become the artist that they strive to be. I had previous work done at another business and they were so faded and sparse and she was able to bring my brows back to life. The attention to every detail during my appointment was incredible. She measured my facial features and created a shape that was proportionate and flattering for my face. Then she applied numbing cream before the procedure, which made it extremely tolerable with very minimal pain. Each micro bladed hair stroke was perfectly placed and the shading blended seamlessly into my existing hair. She then thoroughly explained the aftercare, and sent me home with post care balm to aid in the healing process. I get so many compliments on my new brows, I absolutely love them! Sasha, my instructor during my apprenticeship, was incredible as well. She really took the time to answer all of my questions and address all of my concerns as a new artist. I was a lip blush model for Sasha. My lips were not symmetrical and had darker areas on upper and outer corner of lips. Sasha did a lip neutralization to get rid of the darkness on my lips and made a beautiful shape as well. My cupids bow was not defined prior to the lip blushing but now i have one. She is so sweet and very knowledgeable about pmu and was very thorough with me about the procedure. Since I have sensitive skin and suffer from excema she kept my chin and skin around my lips moisturized throughout the entire lip blushing procedure. She made me feel comfortable throughout the procedure, she constantly asked me how I was feeling and if I needed more numbing to let her know . She is such a sweet and fun person to be around makes the experience so much better. I went for another lip blushing session, this time Sasha was going to add color to my lips after the lip neutralization. She consulted with me about about the color I wanted for my lips. If you're a guy looking to upgrade your brows, this is the place! I've been debating for a while about my brows since I had a habit of pulling on them when I'm working, etc. so they thinned out. I've also admired big defined brows which I think makes people look younger/healthier and more striking. So when my hubby's cousin decided to practice on me, late last year I decided to do it. I was the first guy that she has ever done and although she did a good job, the ink quickly faded and the definition disappeared.
