Similar to the Arcadia location, there's a mix of legitimate items here and a couple questionable, potentially bootleg items, so make sure you check and read the labels and compare prices online and the such. I like how this location plays into the culture and touristy-ness of the Little Tokyo with the daruma statue photo op in front and the pressed penny machine. I'm a sucker for pressed pennies, so this was nice. I've gotten super cheap sword props for cosplay, cute super cheap random character plushies and merchandise (think generic cats), and in an ocean of blind box slop shops in LT, I prefer Maneki Neko in comparison.

Outside of the pit in the plaza area, sometimes I like to go to Monkey Pants, but it is a small shop, but they have cute trinkets and sometimes character mascots have meet and greet events, Catch on the 3rd floor, Neko Stop, Maneki Neko, Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle, the Sanrio store, Nijiya for quick drinks or snacks, Yamazaki bakery for the meat buns, Mitsuru Cafe for super cheap dango and takoyaki, and sometimes they have cool collab decoration and events throughout this location. It definitely gets crowded and busy here, the parking garage can get quite fisted, so it's not somewhere I park normally, but I will definitely visit.

We bough some stuff from Nijiya market, got kimono from Shinyodo gift shop and got ice cream from Little Tokyo Ice cream and yogurt. All staff members in each store were nice. Prices varied from average to high based on products.

It was shortly after they opened because I happened to have an appointment in the area and needed some beauty products for a trip. They were great with answering all of my beauty questions! The only con may be parking when it's busy or later in the day. I've tried coming here at night before but struggled to find parking when the lot was full and there weren't any spots on the street nearby. So definitely try to plan to come earlier in the day/when it's less busy.

They allowed us to get some sweet treats and pastries, and they actually became one of the highlights of our trip to Little Tokyo! Although some of the stores weren't opened yet, it was great just to explore the area! All of the storefronts at the mall and surrounding Plaza were decorated for the holiday season. This brought an extra layer of charm to the shopping trip and helped create a cozy, festive ambiance! The quietness of the early morning hours created a amazing environment for us to walk through and enjoy our short little excursion to this beautiful shopping center! Although my visit was brief, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I would love to go back again, but next time during afternoon or evening hours when all the shops are open so I can finally see everything the Little Tokyo Mall has to offer!

I do recall wanting a lizard plush keychain here and asking staff if they had a bearded dragon one. Staff had no idea what I was talking about but they were nice enough to take out the entire shipment from storage, let me point out the one I wanted and I was able to get one. I have been searching for that size bearded dragon plushie keychain for awhile. It's from the Tsuburana Hitomi (round eyed) animals zoo collection, reptiles line! So that's a W in my book at least.

Erin takes the time to understand her clients' preferences and concerns before starting the process. She makes sure to ask about any specific requirements or issues and uses her expertise to create a look that complements the client's facial features. She is patient, gentle, and makes sure that her clients are comfortable throughout the entire process. I also appreciated that Erin took the time to educate me on the proper care and maintenance of my eyebrows. What a beautiful academy of beauty! I attended a total permanent makeup course taught by Anna at Micro Beauty Academy. I did a lot of research, and decide to go here and I could could not be happier. She was very patient, detailed and caring. I've learned 6 days including proper way to sanitize, how to design, color theory, corrections, business tips and so much more! Oh, and lots for practice, too! After that i was able to work on live models. I have attended beauty classes several times before, in different places, and I can say with certainty that Anna is one of the best instructors I've ever met, and a fantastic beauty artist. I am not one to write reviews but Anna and her team were so great I couldn't help but share my experiences. Anna is an expert at her craft. She is not only knowledgeable about SMP, she is very professional and can provide you the desired look you are going for. Not all SMP are the same, which is why you have to be very careful about who you select to perform your procedure! Anna explained the process in detail and answered all of my questions. The total service for a full set of brows (first time) was $1,000. The pricing depends of which technician you choose. The highest level in the owner, but I picked Bella, who is one level below. When I arrived, I marveled at the beautiful space and gorgeous people. Everyone who works here has amazing brows, and so they are walking / talking advertisements. Jen, the receptionist, was very kind and patient for this first-timer. I paid the balance of $700 and finally met my brow artist, Bella. Bella is gorgeous! It's kinda intimidating but she's also super sweet and put me at ease. She explained every single step and took time to answer my questions. It's a process...I think I was there for close to two hours. Logistics: In 2023, the parking lot was $2.25 per every 30 minutes and not validated. Metered street parking was available but read the signs carefully. It has now been a year and a half and I can honestly say this has changed my life for the better! My brows were very uneven and thinning (thyroid condition) - which made me look so old and tired!! I now look bright-eyed and bushy tailed each morning after I roll out of bed. No makeup needed! To start she notice my right was just slightly higher than my left eyebrow. For my face it's pretty minor and other than that is fairly symmetric. However, she's had other clients where the muscles are pretty different, that being said she worked with it all. After that she confirms that you're happy with the shape and even cleans up any strays. I am the worst and barely trim but she flawlessly reshaped my eyebrows before drawing them in. Now for the microblading. Having done it before I have had mixed experiences. Some pain, minor pain, some discomfort it's a mix. However, I felt no pain this time around, and it's because Ana is so aware on top of the topical numbing cream she makes sure to give you additional so you don't feel it. She wants to make the experience was painless as possible. She works both with a traditional microblading tool and gun to make sure everything is perfect!
