I have to give this place all 5 stars. I come to STILLY to watch my boy in the Hottest Band in the Land...no, sorry that's KISS the band. OK State is the BRIGHTEST band in the Land! Anyway, I've stayed in lots of places in the area. We love that this place is CLEAN and it feels SAFE. There are other places that are neither. Sure it's a little ways from the university but take 64 to 177 and you miss lots, I mean LOTS of traffic and headache on 51 after the game. It's closer than Ponca City (yea, it's a real place) and Gutherie on 35. Sure, there's a train about 2:00 am. But you're in the sticks,man! When you're close to stillwater and you want consistency GO HERE or the Microtel on Hall of Fame (always booked up in football season or school times). You can't go wrong. We found this to be an excellent value for our family, needing two rooms and desiring an indoor pool and a place to accommodate dogs. The front desk night manager handled my call ahead with professionalism and never acted bothered by my seeming constant returns for various things. The pool area is clean and welcoming, the pool water warm. It was not the largest pool. I gave up on laps when all my kids got in and just did exercises in the corner of the pool to burn off some calories. The rooms were nicely appointed for the level of hotel it is (discount), and the breakfast was nothing shabby. I liked that one waffle maker can make four mini waffles so you don't feel like you must fill the whole thing or eat too much or waste food. They did keep the main lobby and breakfast room a bit too toasty. I agree with the other reviewer the doors were noisy, and I was also bothered by the person in the room next door. It had one of those adjoining doors, though the connected room beside us was handicapped so my family did not get that as their second room. We booked the same day, so I don't know if they could have accommodated us better with more notice. The neighbor came in late and the light under the door bothered me. I would have appreciated a continuous fan temperature control too. read more

This place offered the best room in Perry for the lowest price. The room was very clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the space was roomy. Everyone we talked to was extremely friendly. Especially the lady that took care of breakfast, she was so attentive and made our morning. There was a great selection for breakfast. There was a fitness room and an indoor pool, both clean. Overall we were impressed and plan to stay again the next time we visit family in Perry. read more

I give this hotel a big thumbs up for friendly staff, cleanliness, and comfortable beds. But I can only give two stars because of the noise levels. I have never heard doors slam so loud in any hotel I have ever stayed in. And there is a constant train right outside that blows it's horn without hesitation. I also hear next door guests' entire conversations through the walls. I think if the AC Unit would continually run instead of cutting off, it would help drown them out. So, if you have sensitivity to noises.. Do not stay here. If noises aren't bothersome to you, this place is great. read more

I stayed 3 nights and it was great. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and staff was very friendly. Only thing I didn't realize about it, that I didn't necessarily love, was that the Microtel is definitely micro. Lol. The room was small, but it wasn't terrible. Very cozy. read more

My family stayed here for my nephews wedding over Labor Day weekend. First off, the rooms are affordable, and that's nice! We had nearly a whole floor to ourselves for the wedding guests and wedding party. So I'm sure we were a little noisy, but the staff didn't complain to us. I can't stay enough about the staff, they were spectacular! They were super nice and helpful if we needed anything. When we had a last minute need to move a cookout from a local farm, they let us bring it to the hotel's dining area! They were just the most helpful staff EVER!!! The pool was nice too. Just because of our sheer number, I'm sure we were a pain in the butt, but they took it all in stride and just made us feel so welcome!!!! Thank you! read more
