Le Crystal is a beautiful set of reception halls that have been recently renovated. It has an awesome reputation within the community, and these two things put together were the reason we wanted to have our wedding reception there! Upon showing up in August 2012, hoping for a summer 2013 wedding, we were told that the hall was fully booked for 2013 except for a date in April and one in September..That was something we had to struggle with..Either forget the summer wedding, or have it either somewhere else or a year later.. We decided to forego the summer wedding dream, and settle for one in the fall (good thing we did - perfect weather for a huge puffy dress!). We found Joe to be extremely easy to deal with, and signed all the paperwork. He also gave us lists of suggested vendors based on the reviews of couples who've had their weddings there, and so that was a good starting point for us to start planning. Throughout the year, we only contacted them once or twice, but once the 1 month-to-go mark hit, I think I called Joe at least once a week if not more. He was very very nice, and always extremely courteous and helpful. The night of, everything went without a hitch. They were extremely organized in having everything we wanted go right according to plan, the food was plentiful and phenomenal (we still have guests raving about it!), the hall was great, and the service was awesome. They really made everything so easy for us, and I can say with confidence that we do not regret choosing that hall AT ALL (which isn't something you'll hear from us about many of our vendors...........). Le Crystal is amazing, Joe is amazing, and we would most definitely recommend this hall to anyone getting married or looking to throw a party! 5 stars!

The food was excellent and the service as well. They have some senior waiters who go out of their way for guests. I have one major complaint which I discovered at the latest event which was held in the Athena room. To go to the washrooms is a major treck up many stairs and down a hall. I missed the speaches because my timing was bad and it took THAT long to get there and back. The Chateau is beautiful but it has this unfortunate flaw.

The server that we had was very accommodating. It was time for lunch but we were not ready for lunch and asked for breakfast. She said: "no problem" and at night we came 2 min before the restaurant was closing and they still made burger and fries to go. Service is excess well. Absolutely recommend.

Upon checkin they asked for my credit card for incidentals, and it kept declining. For those of you who religiously read my reviews, my card doesn't decline. Ever. So that was odd and i had no pings from Capital One on anything. For Vog and I, we settled into our king bed room which was nice - decent view, hard wood flooring, and a glass shower walk-in. The double French (pun) doors on the bathroom were odd enough, but the shower was hot, and good enough. I would say this was a nice place to stay, plenty of food and entertainment options nearby, and only a 24 min drive (felt quicker) to the city.
