Manuel arrived with a large team and was extremely organized, starting all work on time and was here all day. A small team returned the next day to complete part two of the job, demonstrating great commitment. Not only did they leave my backyard looking even neater than when they arrived, but Manuel's team also went above and beyond by weeding and mulching the front yard and side yard (not pictured) with extra mulch at no additional cost -- even though it wasn't part of the original scope. Pricing was extremely fair, and the quality of work was excellent. Manuel truly lives up to the positive reviews I read beforehand, which is why I decided to give him a try. Huge thanks to the previous reviewers and to Manuel for a fantastic job! P.S. - I called Manuel for one quote at my rental property for fencing. He did well to meet me on time and get me a quote in Baltimore County. I did not do that project at all, but appreciated his promptness that I asked him a couple of weeks later to quote this project. Once again, came when he stated he would come and got me a quote. Scheduling quotes with landscapers can be tricky, but Manuel came through on time and priced well both times.

And did not want to take responsibility until I had to get a plumber out here to figure out what the problem was and where the leak came from and sure enough it was confirmed by the licensed plumber that the installer Which works for Mr. handyman drilled right into my waterline flooded my first second and third floor. This company don't want to pay to restore my home or better yet the owner wants to sell his people to restore my home why would I trust them to do anything in my home ever in life. And this company couldn't even have the decency to refund my money for the work done considering they messed everything up again. Not only did I have to pay for them to install the vanity but now I have to pay to have my house dried out in the drywall torn up in my floors replaced because of their neglect

Extremely disappointed with the services provided and the disingenuous pricing of the work. I…read morerequested assistance with repairing a leaking sliding glass door and fixing a small hole (1.5" x 1.5") in my garage siding. I was quoted $450- $550 to fix the sliding door, and the siding repair was not included in the estimate. The repairman did not attempt to recreate the leak for the sliding door and suggested either caulking a small gap that might be the issue or replacing the entire door assembly. I said I would take care of caulking the door because I needed to clean the surfaces beforehand. We spent about 5 minutes addressing this. We then moved to the hole in the garage siding. Initially, the repairman asked if I wanted him to caulk the hole. Caulk seemed inappropriate for the repair, and I suggested using Bondo or something similar. He said he wouldn't be able to match the siding profile perfectly, but he could try. He also said he wasn't sure he could match the color, but he would take a paint chip to Lowe's to see what he could do. I understood the limitations and approved his attempt at the repair. I wish I hadn't; I would have been better off going to Lowe's, picking up some epoxy, and spending half an hour doing it myself. He said the paint chip he brought in wasn't big enough to color match, so he got a can of spray paint that looked close. I approved him to try it nonetheless and again, wish I hadn't. After finishing the job, the repairman gave me the invoice and said he came in at the low end of $450, which was confusing to me because that was the estimate for repairing the sliding door; we hadn't discussed an estimate for repairing the hole in the garage. I addressed this directly and was met with the response that "I have no control over the pricing, I just punch it in the computer, and it gives me a total." After including the cost of the spray paint and the credit card processing fee, the bill was $534.20 for a poorly executed repair of a 1.5" x 1.5" hole in some metal siding. That's absolutely insane. I would caution against using this company's services due to the poor workmanship and the predatory pricing. I tried calling to address this issue, but I couldn't reach anyone other than an AI phone agent.

But, it is only fair that the great people at Exotic Lumber get a great review. Selection of product: They probably have over 100 different species of wood in stock it seems like at all times. They have small pre cut blanks for tuning of pens all the way up to large live edge slabs. So of their products are pre cut and planed to a basically smooth surface with at least 3 sides squared. GREAT SELECTION. Services: They can smooth most surfaces for you in house, and will ruff cut products and even glue your products for a small fee. Expertise and custom service: TOP NOTCH customer service and knowledge makes buying a product easy. If you are a beginner (just let them know) or a seasoned expert, they can help. They will not steer you wrong. Final thoughts: I might be old school but I love products that are made out of REAL wood. Not IKEA for me. Sometimes finding the right product to create your project might be the hardest things to do, at Exotic Lumber they help you find the products you need and can even give sound advice if needed. Get you butt in the store and start building your dream project.

AA Exteriors was also one of the only companies willing to find a solution creating a roof that seamlessly blended and fused into my existing build for a reasonable price. Nick and his crew definitely delivered, and they were out on the job site from start to finish. While the permitting process through Anne Arundel County took a while and was by far the most difficult part, Nick worked quickly and efficiently on everything he could control including the: planning/design, demo, foundation build, decking boards, roof construction, screening, and punch out work. Through each step of the process, Nick kept the work area clean and I never felt like my dogs were at risk of injury when letting them outside to go to the bathroom. During the job, Nick made some excellent recommendations including recessed lighting around the roof of the porch and using decking boards instead of lattice to close in the deck. He also handled some extra tasks like cleaning the gutters, power washing the siding, laying down mulch and grass seed, and planting shrubbery. All this to say that Nick truly cares about the job he does and making sure the customer is happy with the finished product. I definitely would recommend AA Exteriors and I will use Nick again on future projects.
