I get a call from my pharmacy saying they got the scripts, buuut the one I actually need the DR has to authorize it bc my ins wouldn't allow it to be filled without it! So here it is Monday the next week and I've been calling the office since Thursday at 3pm! When I call the office to speak to the front desk they tell me to call the tech that does this, so I do! Guess what? No answer! Been calling her since Thursday last week! Called all day Friday! No response! Called Monday, no response! I'm HIGHLY FRUSTRATED AND WANT MY MEDICATION! This is not a great 1st impression! After I get my script I will go to my normal allergist from now on! Bc this office is a FREAKEN JOKE!!!

I had concern just seeing the operating theatre in…read morePoughkeepsie and wished that I had not continued. i would strongly recommend visiting the outpatient surgery setting before your scheduled procedure - it appeared to me to be a renovated raised ranch home not all at the quality level of the offices of Highland Opthamology. My vision was impaired for a long time post op and my IOC went higher not lower. The surgery failed. I would not recommend Dr Huynh nor the Poughkeepsie Surgery Center. I plan to have my surgery redone in Albany.

Dr. Powell has made a tremendous difference in my vision. Having suffered from a corneal ulcer…read more(bacterial) which rendered my left eye's vision to be quite poor, I was feeling very disillusioned and stressed. Dr. Powell adroitly fitted me with a scleral lens. Today I can see 20-25 (and 2 letters on the 20-20 line), almost perfect with my left eye! Moreover, Dr. Powell treated me with kindness, compassion and professionalism. She took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. I always felt at ease when in her care. She also has a good sense of humor. It's because of Dr. Powell that I have my vision back; needless to say I am eternally grateful to her. Words can not express how much this means to me; of course, I highly recommend Dr. Powell.
