Well long and behold, the big toe is drifting again to the left and has not remained straight. This has created an issue where the skin on my second toe has developed irritation and skin coming off the second digit and scabbing over. This has been continuing for several months but cannot get someone to answer the phone in order to make an appointment. SO; at this stage, I have made an appointment with one of their competitors.

They got me in at 1:45. The staff were all friendly and nice. I liked the doctor very much as well. He was thorough and helpful. Knocking off a star because there is a 3% fee for credit cards, which sure, many restaurants charge, and they DID tell me this when I made the appointment so I was prepared to pay via check. However, I have a HSA (Health Savings Account) which I would have had to pay extra out if because of this silly fee. Seems extreme for a physician to charge that in my opinion.

I like that they take a conservative approach (he didn't jump to "you need surgery"). He also was willing to sit and answer all my questions. I didn't feel rushed. The front office staff and Xray technician were both nice and my appointment schedule was kept within a reasonable amount of time. Definitely found my "knee" guy. Just FYI - this place specializes in knees and hips, so if you need other orthopedic assistance, you'll have to look elsewhere.

At first I was very pleased with Dr villani that had appointment availability immediately however…read moreon my last visit we spoke about a displaced fracture and tendons surgery when I looked at that after visit summary it said something about an ingrown toenail and ligaments I do not have ingrown toenails . I called his office and the girl had him call me and he said to me that he didn't think I was going to have a good outcome say no more I went to see another podiatrist I did ask for the medical records to take to the new podiatrist and while sitting in that office I was reading Dr villani's notes that stated I had chemo in my shoulder . I had chemo in 2008 because of breast cancer I don't know who's doing his notes or if he's just really not listening I was not happy with the outcome with Dr villani and unfortunately I will not recommend him to anyone
