I found Dr Huang through my health insurance directory. At the time I was undergoing an IVF…read moretreatment and the acupuncture sessions definitely helped me relax. The reason for this one star review though is because of their inability to handle administrative processes. At this first consultation I was told by the clinic that my insurance wouldn't pay for my treatment. I had checked coverage beforehand so I asked the clinic to submit the claim and in case it got denied I would pay out of pocket. I only paid my copay that day. In my second consultations I was informed by insurance denied the claim. I then started to pay my treatments out of pocket and agreed I would check back with the insurance so the clinic could re-submit the claim. My insurance (Meritain) told me though that the clinic had never submitted a claim for the treatments. The insurance tried to contact the clinic six times and ask them to proper submit the claim so I could get reimbursed. I contacted them a few times asking for the same but they never did anything about it. Now, almost a year after my treatments, I was told the insurance company gave up trying to get the clinic to submit claim so I can get reimbursed and closed my case. I don't think this is an acceptable level of service from their part. No relaxation they provided me throughout my treatments top up the stress of having to deal with their administrative mess.

Dr. Huang is great! My husband and I are undergoing IVF…read moretreatment and our doctor at CCRM recommended that I start doing acupuncture to reduce stress and possibly improve outcomes of IVF, she recommended Dr. Huang. He uses a very individualized approach to therapy, which makes sense to me since we are all unique and have different issues that need to be addressed. His place is very nice and cozy and his staff is top notch. I highly recommend Bay Area Integrative Heath Care and Dr Huang!

I went here for a Bachelorette's party and it was awesome! Big soaking tub and a massage…read moreafterwards? Heaven on earth!! We had an hour in the soak room which was big enough for 6 people! A steam, hottub and a cold plunge! They also gave us totes with robes so we could move to and fro areas. The massage was the best massage Ive ever gotten. It was a deep tissue with I believe her name was Jessica or Jesse. It was dim and very relaxing! I will say this place was pretty pricey so I'd do it for a special occasion! The only blip, and it really is a small blip is that one of the front desk ladies misheard my friend when she said she was paying for 2 of us and charged her for 3. We able to sort it out amongst ourselves (Thanks zelle lol) but they were very apologetic! I'll be sure to come back for an anniversary or something!

Small parking lot for customers…read more Six dragonflies: nice room with a lounge bed, hot tub, cold plunge and steam room (attached to shower). One hour is a good amount of time to relax, without feeling rushed. I do wish they provided robes and slippers as it can be inconvenient to use the outside bathrooms if you're already wet. Pro tip: keep your shoes/socks slightly elevated to keep them dry when you go in/out of the various water sources. If management is reading this, consider having a shoe rack in the tub rooms so that shoes and socks don't accidentally get wet and lotion in the bathrooms.

Laura Williams is competent, dedicated, knowledgeable, attentive and kind…read more I came to Laura in January, 2024, principally to work on lingering pain in both my right and left lumbar area; the right one being an old problem and the left one quite sharp and very new. The left one was the remnant of a slipped disk that created an uncomfortable amount of burning pain for several long months in the left leg and leaving the muscles atrophied and weak. Since the right lumbar almost always hurt in one way or another and my neck was always and repeatedly stiff, I finally decided to go looking again for a therapist. I contacted a number of therapists, but Laura's response was so simple, direct and pleasant, I decided to try her services. Good Choice In the first session the sharp residual pain in the left lumbar was gone within days and by the third session I realized I had made the right choice. Laura has an uncanny energy and a clear ability to connect to the human organism, allowing her to perceive and understand its needs, quibbles, defects and problems; no doubt supported by her manifestly impressive knowledge of the musculoskeletal anatomy. She has a light touch, but also a powerful force where needed--and I have certainly often needed her energy and her force. Because I complained about a unhealthy level of prolonged stress developed over the last five dreadful years, she also began a sensitive and effective method to moderate this stress; quieting my organism and better preparing me to deal with, construct and tear down, what has yet been left undone.

I've visited Laura multiple times for bodywork, and I've recommended her to many others since…read more Laura's intuitive approach to massage therapy is what truly makes her stand out. She has an exceptional understanding of the body and energy flow, creating a session that is not only rejuvenating but also deeply healing. Her ability to help release stored energy and foster a sense of balance is nothing short of amazing. After each session, I leave feeling lighter, more centered, and completely refreshed. If you're looking for more than just a massage--a truly transformative experience--I wholeheartedly recommend Laura.

I had booked lymphatic massage with Jane's Therapy after seeing great reviews about her massages…read more I received reminder via text message which was helpful. She's operating out of her home in Santa Clara. Finding her place was easy- she also came to parking area to make sure I find the place. A few things that led to a meh experience- I have been to multiple places, including some who operate out of home, so naturally I'm comparing against those. This one felt weird. 1. The table is set up in the living room with one divider to cover shorter side (head) only, so the table is exposed in the longer side and quite open, with almost zero privacy. 2. Communication: I was expecting lymphatic massage but she suggested lymphatic is not good as it is very mild. Instead she would do a combination of lymphatic and will use pressure points. She kept pushing for it so I reluctantly agreed. During the massage she checked a couple of times about pressure, which was good. However the massage itself was just okay. Towards end of the massage she said her fingers hurt because she had to massage using fingers vs elbow. And she asked if I still wanted lymphatic but we are already at one hour at that point - that felt very off and weird. I declined because I didn't know if that would mean extra cost or not. It was also weird that she rolled her eyes as it to indicate it's a burden for her. The bed was warm but room was cold, with sofa and all open mess around. Overall it was pretty bad experience. It could be because she operated out of her home, but it was weird.

I've dealt with migraines for a while and tried a few different massage places without much luck…read more My friend suggested I check out Jane, and I'm glad I did. She was really understanding about my headaches and seemed to know exactly where to focus during the massage. After a few sessions, I've noticed my headaches aren't as bad as they used to be. Jane's office has a nice, relaxed feel, and she's genuinely nice to talk to. If you're looking for some relief from tension or headaches, Jane might be worth a try.
