About 5ish years ago I was in a terrible motorcycle accident which left me with a right shoulder that every 3-4 months or so comes out of alignment and leaves me in an overwhelming amount of pain. I finally looked up chiropractors in the area after a few weeks of really bad lower back pain that was really bothering me due to doing something incorrectly at a pilates class. In just one appointment Dr. Kolozsi was able to make me feel about 80% better, and I could finally move without being in a ton of pain! After about a week of moving around after that one appointment, I was completely back to normal. I am SO thankful! I do wish the billing process was a little more clear, but he does take insurance which is awesome! Bryan had treated my mom-in-law 2 years ago, and has made himself available just when needed, he knows how bad a back pain (or other similar thing) can get. I was surprised by how genuinely he follows up with patients, but over the course of that 1 month, and also 2 years later when I went to him for my own back problem, he has always gone above and beyond my expectations. He explains what he's doing very well when asked, and really does relieve the pain, and tells exactly what he's doing and how your body will feel when he's doing what he's doing. I went from being told by my other sports-medicine doctor that I needed to accept spine arthritis and immobility / pain at age 40, to (after my adjustment) being fully mobile, able to stand upright, and with significant pain relief. Amazing, excellent, best, impressive... Not to be a copycat of all the other reviews here but every single word that has been used to describe Dr. Kolozsi is spot on. To be honest I had seen another chiropractor earlier this year. Having never gone to one before, my first experience was kinda crappy. The place just rushed me through the office, xrayed the hell out of me before even asking me what was wrong, then tried to sell me a bunch of things before I left the door. I was so traumatized that I shied away from seeing someone again for quite some time... With my back and neck driving me crazy and out of desperation to feel better, I asked my trusted Pilate instructor if she had anyone to recommend so I could give it one more shot. She quickly recommended Dr. Kolozsi. Of course before I made my appointed, I sneaked on here to see what folks were saying (thanks yelpers, you guys never fail me either). Long story short since I'm sure you've read through most of the other reviews, he is just awesome! A no nonsense practice but plenty of time will be spent on you to get what you need taken care of. I didn't know that I had to see Dr. Kolozsi until a friend told me about her treatment with him and recovery from an auto accident. At that moment I realized that I needed to see him - but I didn't know why. In fact, during my first visit he asked me what was hurting and I didn't really have a answer. However, I have had so much pain in my foot (podiatrist is treating a bunion), shoulders (gymnastics & construction) and tailbone (old snowboarding injury) that I had to twist around like a contortionist and hang my foot off of the side of my bed to sleep at night. Without my being able to express all of those life-long aches, Bryan did a very complete adjustment and the pain in my foot and tailbone were gone! Over the next couple of adjustments I began to wiggle my hips and move my legs in ways that I hadn't been able to in years. So it turns out that a childhood filled with athletics as well a number of surgeries and injuries as an adult has really affected my back and hips in ways that are treatable! I do yoga and stretching, but they didn't help loosen anything. I just thought that I was destined to stiffen up for the rest of my life. Simply the BEST. General disclaimer, I haven't gone to a chiropractor before him, but I've seen countless of massage therapists throughout my life. Massages will temporarily relieve the pain before it all comes back in the same places within a few weeks. I started seeing Dr. Kolozsi about two months ago, and he has helped my neck and upper back area tremendously. During the initial visit, he adjusted my neck back in place, and for the first time in over ten years sleeping on my back did not hurt! I always needed a very firm pillow to support my neck, but now if that's not available, it's not really an issue. I'm still seeing him weekly to further correct the tensions I have on my body (mostly due to long-term bad habits), and every time I come out feeling better. Dr. Kolozsi always fixed my neck and back without trying to upsell. I had been to another chiropractor who s...l...o...w...l...y assisted me over months, while selling me expensive products, services and packages and ran out of insurance benefits - NOT Dr. Kolozsi! He got right to the point: adjusting me quickly and effectively. I went in as needed, sometimes not needing to go back for months (and my disks and hips are a mess). When I did go, he was always very accommodating and it always felt like a miracle. It was easy to get an appointment, even the same day, and I always left feeling better than when I arrived. Wow! I am so happy that I found this chiropractor... I have always been afraid of manual manipulations and steered away from the 'traditional chiropractor.' However, this was totally different than I expected. I walked in fighting a headache (an almost daily residual from the lovely car accident 3.5 years ago) and walked out floating. I have not had a headache for the past 2 days and I have more energy. Dr. Kolozsi made me feel very comfortable, asked lots of preliminary questions to understand my specific needs, and was a pro at getting my body to relax into the process. Hands down, this is the best chiropractor I have ever been to (and I LOVE getting cracked - I'd go every day if I could). He is smart, friendly, experienced, and DEFINITELY knows his stuff. He is also flexible with his hours, goes out of his way to be accommodating to his patients, and current on news in the chiropractic world. I've never had any issues with him billing my insurance, and he is well priced if you wish to pay out of pocket. He also has this AMAZING massage chair you get to sit in for 15 minutes after your appointment, that feels like heaven on your freshly aligned spine. I leave there relaxed, happy, and an inch taller. I'd seen three or four chiropractors over the years, but without making any real dent in my recurring lower back problems. Dr. Kolozsi is AMAZING! I have been having issues with my back for the past 6 months or so and kept putting off having it checked. I finally went in to see him after getting a recommendation about a month ago and I am already better after 2 appointments. He was able to fix my known issues as well as find and fix things that I did not realize were happening until he brought my attention to them. Okay.. so this time I injured my shoulder. I didn't think a chiropractor would help with a rotator cuff. I suffered 5 months of pain, unable to sleep on that side despite physical therapy. I have lower back pains for more than ten years and I have tried many things including sleeping on a tatami bed and acupuncture, both brought temporary relief but the pain keeps coming back. I have tried physical therapy a year ago and kept doing the exercise my PT taught me, which was very helpful. However, none of these really corrected the problem in my spine and hips, so a recent brief illness, which forced me to sit in bed for a day, brought the pain back. I finally decided to go and see a chiropractor (against my primary doctor's advice) - I am so glad that I did. Bryan was able to see me at a short notice, and immediately identified the source of the problem, and started working on it. I left his office feeling less pain and a few inches taller! Since I'd missed a couple of my regular "tune-ups" because of the holidays, I felt a little stiff, but figured it would go away. One of the things that is most impressive about Dr. Kolozsi is that I don't need to tell him where it hurts - he can tell by the way that I'm walking or how the muscles in my back feel to the touch. He tells ME where it hurts and he's almost always right. I've been going to him for years now to maintain pain-free back and shoulders. Dr. Kolozsi is a very skilled chiropractor. I've had 4 chiropractors in my life and he's the only one who gets my tough spots. My lower back has always bee impossible for chiropractors to adjust and Dr. K has kept me pain free in that area. Dr. Kolozsi is amazing! I recently became acquainted with him and I brought my dog in for an adjustment. The following day at dog park, my pup ran a ton and received a several compliments from other dog owners who noticed how happy he is. His behavior has improved (better concentration when you feel better!), as well as an improved gait. From now on my dog is getting adjusted just at least quarterly if not monthly.
