They were thinned out too much. The large elm tree in my backyard is my favorite. It was pruned so that it is asymmetrical - one side is much higher than the other. Branches on the lower side hang over my gutters so they will clog. There are now suckers all over the tree that have to be pruned. There is more I could say. The tree was beautiful, now it is not. Hopefully all the trees will fill out and then I will have to find another service to prune them correctly.

He is reliable, punctual, and courteous, and he does great work, often going well above and beyond to exceed our expectations. We're like you; we scoured Yelp for the best reviews before reaching out to multiple landscapers. We had a hard time finding someone who would (a) respond, (b) show up at the agreed time to provide an estimate, and (c) show up at the agreed time to do the work. We actually hired a different landscaper, who didn't show up to do the work after multiple reschedules. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we hired Carlos. If he doesn't respond to your message right away, give him a little time -- he's probably out working! We initially hired Carlos for a one-time project that included cleaning and re-mulching plant beds, weed removal, and trimming dozens of monstrously overgrown rose bushes and other plants. His estimate was reasonable and he arrived on time for each visit. He and his crew did a great job and totally transformed our yard. Based on the good experience with the one-time project, we hired Carlos for biweekly service. He has reliably shown up every time for the past six months, and continues to do great work. We just asked for basic maintenance like grass trimming and leaf blowing, but he has consistently gone above and beyond to maintain the work he did with the one-time project, which we didn't expect, and continues to blow us away with the scope and quality of his work. We have also asked him to do smaller projects, like replacing broken sprinkler heads, which he has done promptly, cheerfully, and at a very reasonable cost. Every time Carlos finishes his work, I think, wow, this guy does such a great job, I should go write a Yelp review. Well, finally, here it is! Carlos Garcia is amazing. My wife and I have been meaning to get several large, overgrown trees removed from our backyard. We called several places without anyone calling back. We got directly through to Mid-Vally, spoke to the owner, and he agreed to come out to my house the very next day in the morning. After a brief meeting, he had his entire team out at my house that very afternoon with a complete and professional removal within an hour or so. The move was difficult as it was not easily accessible. He didn't let that stop him and handled, not only the job, but the cleanup beautifully. More importantly, he valued the business and it showed in his work. If you are even considering tree removal, give Mid-Valley the first shot at it. You won't regret it. read more

We just moved here from the Bay Area and needed to finish some projects to the house we just purchased. One was the three trees that were in our front yard. Our neighbor happened to be using Mid-Valley for her palm tree in her backyard. They did an amazing job on her tree and even covered our pool so nothing would fall into it from the tree being removed. They gave us a quote and I couldn't believe it. Everything in the Bay Area costs an arm, leg and liver and hearing their price I almost had to be pinched. They did an amazing job and cleaned up every leaf that fell. Their prices are VERY reasonable as well. Even the staff in the office are super cool and extremely nice. Will be recommending them to everyone!! read more

Mid Valley Tree Service provided excellent service from giving me a quote to getting the job done. Jose came out to my house to give me a quote which was very reasonable for needing 2 big trees removed and a 3rd big tree prune. I was amazed how quickly his office responded to a few concerns I had prior to doing the work to how quickly he and his team removed the 2 trees to the excellent clean up in my yard and my neighbors yard. I went outside to see how Jose was going to trim the big tree and I was amazed! I had a project to remove part of my neighbors tree hanging over the pool and clean up some palm trees in the yard. Mid Valley Tree Service did a fantastic job, communicated clearly and quickly on both the estimate and the project. From contacting them to getting the job done took less than a week. Contacted Jose on Saturday morning, had quote in no time and they came out and removed tree and stump by 2pm on same day. They were on time and took care not to damage the flowers around the tree while removing the stump. About the only thing I would say was off is that when they showed for the appointment, they just jumped up into the tree and went to work. I needed two trees removed at work and they came out gave us a very reasonable quote. On the day of the removal they were on time and removed two small trees in like 20 minutes with no damage to the surrounding areas and cleaned up! We got a few quotes from a few places to trim three of our trees and Mid-Valley offered the most competitive rate. They came right when they said they would for both the estimate and the actual tree trimming, were great people, did a nice job, and cleaned up the backyard after trimming really nicely.
