I don't write bad reviews frequently but this work continues to upset me. Travis did a lot of work for me. Unfortunately, I am very unhappy with the way my trees were pruned. They were thinned out too much. The large elm tree in my backyard is my favorite. It was pruned so that it is asymmetrical - one side is much higher than the other. Branches on the lower side hang over my gutters so they will clog. There are now suckers all over the tree that have to be pruned. There is more I could say. The tree was beautiful, now it is not. Hopefully all the trees will fill out and then I will have to find another service to prune them correctly. read more

I was out of country working when my neighbor contacted me about a large eucalyptus branch that broke off of my tree near the road. It caught up in another tree, commonly known as a widow maker. Responsive and great value, a good start. All necessary precautions were taken with all the utility companies coming out to mark utility lines days prior to the removal. Professional, go out of their way, follow up and every job is done to my high standards. They are in NO way 'impaired' like you may have experienced or wondered about with other vendors. Today we're taking out 2 huge, 50 year old Ash trees from one of our rentals. I'm drinking coffee and bemoaning the death of these mature trees past their prime. Thing is, I can go about my business knowing these highly competent professionals are performing WITHOUT my needing to be babysitting! Over the years, we've spent well over 30k plus on having mature trees maintained. Last year alone, it was 8K for two properties. Yes, huge mature trees are beautiful but they're expensive and need to be maintained. Old, uncared for limbs can fall on a tenant...I've used 6 or more tree services with names that you'd recognise. Each was lacking in various ways, some worse than others. Mostly they'd quote work and then when the day came, complete it (or think that they had, to a far lower level of work than was agreed to. I received a worried call from my 86 year old mom. A HUGE tree branch fell in her yard. Since COVID, she has not left her house. I drove to her house, took some pictures and started calling tree services that were recommended by friends. The first service was extremely high priced. The second was Travis'. The lady on the phone was extremely helpful and got Travis to come right over. He gave her an UNBEATABLE price! There was a humungous team of workers and machines. During the time it took me to get the money from the bank to pay them, the job was completed. Travis was her angel. On a limited income, she could not afford the first service. Her neighbors came over, heard the price, and wanted Travis to look at their trees to get an estimate! The quote I requested was far more than what I could afford. I sent an email on September 12th, canceling the appointment that they had scheduled for October 23rd. Today I received a text saying they were coming out. Thinking that they had the wrong person, I texted back that they had the wrong number. A woman then called me and said that I had scheduled an appointment. When I said I didn't, she proceeded to rudely chastise me and argue with me for not getting back to them to cancel, basically calling me a liar. When a tree falls late in the evening it absolutely makes a sound!! We had a large tree come crashing down just before 6pm. There was no way I could take care of it myself so I started looking here for help. Not only was Travis' one of the first to respond (less than 5 minutes), his fair quote beat many of the others. Oh I forgot to mention that the quote was for full removal first thing in the morning. I woke up early, and just as it struck 8am Travis and his crew were here and ready to go. The team departed their trucks and got to work on that tree like nothing I have ever seen before. Found these guys through Google review and could not be happier with the job they did! We arranged a consultation visit and they were able to return in 2 days to get the job done! One of the trees in our front yard was leaning to the house since it was getting pushed by a smaller tree. The crew came prepared and completed the trim service in about 40 minutes (our estimate time was for 1-2 hours). On top of that, I asked if they could trim a couple of trees in the back, and they were very happy to do so. He gave a good deal on that quote as well. Everything done and all cleaned up messed free. The owner is every knowledgeable and was explaining to me about a couple of other trees that may need future pruning as well.
