So far, so good! I called two hours ago to see if they could get me in and they did. I told them I needed mybcar within an hour, and they said that shouldn't be a problem. They were very busy when I arrived, but checked me in pretty fast. I came on a Sunday at 11:30am. I got helped by Jesus and Martin they were super friendly and efficient. My estimated wait was less than an hour! Compared to Walmart it was a 4 hour wait. The waiting area was clean, coffee and water provided. There's toys and books for the kids. read more

Went in for an oil change. They said I needed new brakes and quoted me 300 dollars. I decided to do them myself. They didn't need to be done. They also switched my front tires with my back and didn't tighten the lugs on two tires. I didn't find out until I did my brakes which was after we did some major mountain driving that could have gotten me and my family killed if a tire would have come off. MAJOR safety concerns and they lie. Avoid at all costs. read more

When you get a flat tire and don't know what to do but try to ride the rim of the tire to get over here, they don't laugh at you, they help! I was stranded with a flat very early a.m. and decided to try this shop. They quickly gave me my options, offered a fair price and did the work so I could leave on the "donut tire" to get to a place to buy a "real tire". They were friendly, informative, and gave reasonable options that would not kill my wallet. Sadly, my tire was toast particularly as I drove on it briefly to get to the Midas shop. I am pretty convinced it started with the huge amount of broken glass found all over Sacramento streets and alleys these days, but that's a topic for another day. Overall, it could have been a lot worse and I am very glad I tried this place! All around Midas's staff were great... with the exception of no sticker on my window telling me when my next oil change was due and nothing noting my brakes were checked. I specifically asked for my brake check and tire rotation. I will be back though...I like Mida's. Hopefully next time they will note all that was done to my vehicle. Posting a review for my husband who went here yesterday: I wanted a quote on front tires and an alignment and was visiting several places in the West Sac area. At America's Tire I was told that they don't do alignments, and they referred me over to Midas as being a good place to go. So I went. When I got there, I saw a big sign in the window that said TIRES, so I figured I'd get a quote for both tires and an alignment just to keep all my business at one place. Before I could barely ask the guy at the front desk about tires, he barked at me that they don't sell tires, and I should go to America's Tire. So I told him that's where I came from, and they had referred me to Midas for a quote on an alignment. He barked back that he wouldn't even have time to look at my car until after the holidays, so I just said OK and left. I definitely won't go back there again. I couldn't even explain what I wanted before the guy was cutting me off and trying to get rid of me. In the late afternoon on a Tuesday! Sheesh... not sure what this guy's problem was. I been going here for years. But I won't be back. They stripped my front driver stud during a tire rotation and said nothing about it. Well they said they didn't want to snap my stud. I went elsewhere and found out the problem. As all my lug nuts were not tight no more showing they did attempt to do a tire rotation and a stud completely stripped. I went threw hell to get the stud off and had to replace my hub rotors. read more

Went in for an oil change and to have a tire patched due to a misplaced nail. The cost for the oil change was reasonable, if they did everything on their list, that is. They neglected to inflate and rotate the tires even after I asked them to do so, later told me that they did and that the pressure light would go off after I drove a bit. This was just a method to get me off of their lot. I later confirmed with my pressure gauge one of my tires was less than 20 PSI! They blamed their gauges. Funny that my $5 gauge works fine. Also, after the oil change, stated that my tire tread was too low to patch the tire, and that they "highly suggested" that I replace all 4 for their quoted price of $800+. I later got it patched elsewhere for half their price. New tires not required. They also advised me that my brake pads were low and that needed to be replaced. I changed my brake pads less than a year ago with lifetime warrantied pads. They are not low or in need of replacing. When I asked them why they didn't rotate the tires (as their check list for the service indicates that they should) they said they only do that when the back tread is better than the front. Though, when they were trying to sell me new tires, they showed me this was the case according to their measurements of my tread. Bottom line, they are more concerned in upselling than they are in doing good work. Their handling of my vehicle was either dishonest or negligent. I don't have time for either. read more

I bought tires at Tire Rack and had them shipped here for installation. In the process of installing my tires they damaged all four of my rims, and then tried to claim the circular marks around the rim were "curb damage". It's impossible for this to be curb damage (you can't make circular marks around an object if it's moving forward/backward, only if it's spinning like a record). Avoid this place. read more

Everything was straightforward and the staff didn't push any additional sales on me. I was on my way within the hour. I noticed while I was waiting that a number of returning customers came in, chatted with the staff, and were known and recognized by multiple staff members. I had a slow leak in one tire and took it to WalMart in W. Sac. for repair. Within ten minutes, I was told it was unfixable and I'd need to buy a new tire (actually two to match the "bad" one). I told them to refill my near-new tire and went on my way. The next morning I took it to Midas and they fixed it within a half-hour- FREE! Our truck broke down late at night on Hwy. 80 between Davis and West Sac recently (we live about 40 miles away in Lincoln). The tow truck driver delivered our truck to the Midas in West Sac. I recently moved to west sac and found this Midas close to my house. When I walked in they looked really busy and I was afraid it might take a while to get an oil change and tire rotation. I made a phone call and read one of the many magazines in the lobby while I waited. To my surprise my car was done in less than 30 minutes. I was shocked that the bill was about $20 cheaper than I usually pay for the same service at other shops I've gone to in the past. This will definitely be my new shop! read more

I got a tire change and a tire rotation and a couple days later I noticed oil leaking and my steering wheel vibrating after visiting this Midas. I went back and they fixed the oil leak and then proceeded to tell me my tires were separating and to go to the store I bought the tires from. After all the hassle my tires weren't deprecating and just needed balancing. Just moved to West Sac & looked at this Midas. My whole philosophy is to keep the dollars in West Sacramento. Anyhow, the "team" there is very good. Meet the owner & seems sincere. A big plus is the child play area in the corner. My daughter love it there. A big minus is the lack of a restroom. But no biggie, I just go to La Bou with my daughter while the car is being serviced.
