I had the most terrible experience, had an appointment but I didn't get to even see the Dentist. three Ladies in the front desk didn't know how to use my discount card after I explain to one of them that it was not an insurance,that I did had my insurance but I wanted to know if I could use my Discount card with the insurance. she was very rude and her and the other two girls wore laughing looking at me and that make me feel very uncomfortable. I do have an accent, because I am hispanic and those three ladies though that it was funny so they gather on the back of their desk and laughing. I couldn't believe how rude they wore because those three ladies are hispanic too. after 30 minutes they couldn't figure out how to use either my discount card or my insurance, I feel sad, frustrated and very uncomfortable so I asked for my documents and left. I told my friends and family not to go there plus my husband knows alot of people too because of his job a life insurance company he will definitely not recommende this place to his clients. read more

My family and I have been coming here for several years now and have had a great experience with the doctors and staff in the back. Although, the service from the front receptionists has been an issue for a while. The two Hispanic women in the front have welcomed us with attitude, making our visits uncomfortable and distasteful. First, I have to say that I did not get past the office manager so I can't rate the dentist or hygienist. All I know is that they use 3 rotating hygienists and 1 on permanent staff. I found it odd that both times I visited the office, to pick up paperwork and then for the appointment there were no patients in the waiting area. I am new to the Nampa/Caldwell area and researched dentists through my CIGNA DPPO plan. Dr. Christiansen was rated high on the CIGNA site but I find the business practices here unreasonable, to the point where I feel that they place cost above patient care. Even with the DPPO payment process the business insists on payment up front and they would not agree to bill the patient after submitting charges to insurance. This may be the normal practice here but the office manager did not handle our concerns well. Their financial policy says they will charge 18% annual interest if the account is not paid in 30 days and if not paid in 60 days they will turn it over to collections. Yikes! My wife and I showed up for our appointments on time but were refused service unless we agreed to their financial policy verbatim with no changes. This was confirmed by the dentist, presumably Dr. Christiansen whom we had an appointment with. There are plenty of highly rated dentists in the area so we went elsewhere. read more

While previous work done on my teeth was okay, issues with staff has made this place not worthwhile. My mother had an appointment set up a little over a month ago and staff had apparently neglected to inform her on an almost $300 bill that they needed before they could do any work, and did not inform her until she had arrived for her appointment. If her overall health was not tied into this appointment, this wouldn't be so much of an issue, just find another dentist. But due to previous medical issues that they seem to think is okay to ignore, the work she needs done on her teeth are necessary or else she has a high risk of infection that could very easily spread. The overall professionalism of this ordeal has been laughable, and I recommend to NEVER tell a loved one to go here. The owner even lied to us, saying appointments had been rescheduled due to a lack of money. There was no waiting period for her to gain adequate funds, as a appointment had been scheduled without even discussing the payment necessary before the appointment. The original appointment had been postponed due to a recommendation from another doctor. Once she arrived to her appointment, the receptionist and her had worked towards a monthly payment plan, but the receptionist must have changed her mind half-way through and demanded a completely different amount than they had worked towards initially. She then began to raise her voice once my mother questioned this. She never refused payment until the receptionist changed her mind on how the payments should be made. Luckily after all this, my mother had found a new dentist who actually paid attention to concerns from other doctors regarding my mother's previous fight with cancer. The new dentist prescribed her antibiotics that she needs before she can have any work done, something that Middle Creek never prescribed to her. On top of that, the new dentist actually looked into her insurance to see that all of her work is completely covered by her insurance, while Middle Creek tried to charge. All of this only tells me that Middle Creek is a total scam. read more

Middle creek dental has been wonderful for my two kids. My first child had a tooth infection and needed one of her molars pulled, ouch right!? She never cried during the whole thing. She was relaxed and watched a movie while Dr. Christensen worked. The pain she had after went away with just ibuprofen and she healed great. My second needed stitches, Dr. Christensen was gracious to do them for us. The first time my son needed stitches, he was a screaming red faced sweaty mess. We had to bind his arms down and I had to hold him down till they finished. It looked like he was going to pass out, it was horrible. This time though, no crying, no fear, no strapping his hands down and no holding him down! He watched a movie with his gas on his nose and had jolly of a time . I definitely recommend! read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!! I was told by the office staff that they contacted my insurance company to make sure my procedure was covered. I had the procedure done and then was billed by them - the insurance company said they were never contacted by this office. My son was down at Christmas and I took him to see Dr. Christensen for a check up and cleaning. He gave him an all clear - no cavities, everything was fine. Fast forward 6 months when my son came back from college and spent the summer with me. I took him to a dentist in Meridian and they found 3 cavities on one tooth and 2 on another. It was so obvious (btw, I saw the "digital" exray) and confirmed. As a result I had to have porcelain inlays performed to save the two teeth. They have a beautiful office but out dated equipment. Go to a dentist that has digital exray capability and forgo the fireplace and pretty décor. BTW they sent me to a collection agency to collect the $100+ left on my bill that I was willing to pay until I found out my son had all this damage done to his teeth as a result of the Dr's failure to recognize that there was an issue. I think he knew that my son had no insurance and therefore did not pursue doing the right thing. That is the only thing I can figure. DIGITAL EXRAY IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO - he does not have it. read more

These guys are amazing, from getting an appointment set during my busy schedule all the way to Dr Crank dealing with my needle phobia.
