My 7yr old son really enjoys the time spent there. He has attention/focus issues and gets frustrated pretty easily, so I'm very excited that we found a place that is affordable and is a good fit. Horrible Horrible! If I could give 0 stars I would. My 13 year old went there a few years back for their summer academic program and it was horrible. He told me that they just give out worksheets and don't really help. My son was always a cheery guy but when I enrolled him in middle tree he lost that right away. I was struggling in school because of covid-19 so my mom thought that it would be a good idea to go to tutoring. So that's when I came to middle tree I was very nervous because I'm shy when I go to new places but right when I walked in everyone was very nice. My 7 year-old son has been going to Middle Tree since April 2016. I brought him to Middle Tree so he could be challanged more in Math. He has truly blossomed under the amazing tutors. They create a curriculum that challenges him regularly. Yesterday when I picked him up he was working on the Pathagareon theorum. He was able to come home after tutoring and create math questions for me to answer. My son shared how much he enjoys getting a "brain workout" at Middle Tree . I wanted to find the best after school tutoring program for my daughters. That could help my children master and advance their academic skills. I set up many appointments with different tutoring programs with no luck finding the correct program for my daughters. Many of the programs I meet with did not have flexible hours and only covered during their tutoring sessions. Until I found Middle Tree, I made a call left a message for a call back asking for information and within the next hour I received a call back. The person that called me backs was Mr. Atman the chairman of Middle tree I ask if we could come in and take a tour and speak to him about the program. Mr. Atman was very cordial and helpful over the phone. On the day of our meeting I meet with Mr. Atman the Chairman and Executive director that formed this non-profit organization .Mr. Atman created a program that would not inhibit any child from receiving the academic success and enrichment they deserve. Just what as a parent were looking for my children in a tutoring program. The staff is very professional and great with the kids. My daughter's have been a part of this program for a while now. They absolutely love it every day they go its nothing but smiles. They help them with homework and any study materials they need to cover for test or projects. When I pick up the kids I get a quick report on what they worked on that day and the tutors speak to me if they have any concerns or recommendations. They give me a idea on what my child needs to work on more or if they need extra time. We have been bring our daughter Aubrey (8) to middle tree for about a year now (summer off) and the improvement in her reading has changed dramatically. If she struggles in math, they fix it. My daughter has been attending Middle Tree for tutoring for the last two years. It has helped her tremendously. Last year she went from having an F in algebra to a B+. Middle tree has saved my family! I have 3 kids a senior in high school, 8th grade and 4th. School, and especially homework have always been a struggle for my 2 youngest children. They both have learning disabilities. Homework was a nightmare so much chaos, and frustration in our house. Hello I just want to say how happy I am with Middle Tree, my daughter started there back in October of 2016. She is a sixth grader and was struggling with common core math, her test scores were D plus`s and C minus at best. As a family with dual working parents and extracurricular activities and sports, we strongly value after school care through the school district and were very hesitant to make the switch to Middletree. The deal was sealed because we realized that our second grade daughter was not getting homework done at daycare. As much as we value the care, we also recognize the need to complete homework done during allotted time. My daughter has been going to Middletree for a few weeks now, and not only does her assignments get completed, she enjoys going! We worried that she would not adjust well to the new environment, but after her first visit, we asked her how it was, and she responded "it was awesome!" I'm so thankful! for finding Middle Tree. My son who is in 11th grade attended Shade which is their summer program. From the very first day he felt very comfortable with the staff, which was a big relief for me because he hasn't had the same experience with the High school teachers. When I picked him up on the very first day he said "I feel like they want me there, and they actually want to help me without making me feel like I should already know". We had high hopes for Middle Tree. My son attended their summer program several years ago and didn't like it - he simply said he felt uncomfortable there, so it seemed like more of a "bad fit" than anything Middle Tree had done. Later, when my daughter needed math tutoring late last year/ early this year, we decided to try Middle Tree again. Unfortunately during one of their Zoom sessions, the tutor played Finding Nemo and then denied it had taken up almost the entire lesson, instead saying it was "ten minutes at the end". It wasn't, I was monitoring the entire time. Middle Tree didn't seem especially concerned, and very much seemed to believe their tutor rather than the student and her parent. They offered to refund the cost of the tutoring session, but it was the lie that bothered me more than Finding Nemo - although we have our own Disney Plus subscription for movies. We decided to cancel our plan there because trust is paramount when you leave your kids with others. It wasn't a huge deal, but as with anything - make sure you know what's going on and know that if there's a discrepancy between what a tutor says happened and what your child says happened, it's worth investigating and/or monitoring. read more

This place is great, especially given how cheap it is. My daughter (10th grade) has been going there since October. It's a non-profit fun by volunteers, so the price (which they use to pay rent) is less than half of what other places charge. It runs on a membership system (like a gym) where you get unlimited access for a monthly fee. Every day they have tutors that move around and help all the kids that show up. All the tutors have degrees in their field. On occasion my daughter has complained that, when it's real busy there are way more students than tutors and it's hard for her to get enough individual attention. She says this has only happened a couple times though. That's the only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5. Overall we've been happy and my daughter has seen a significant increase in her scores since joining. We've developed a great relationship with the people that run the place. read more

We found Middle Tree through friends and it has been a great find for my kids. My oldest has been a strong student, top grades came easily for her. In her Junior year she was taking several AP classes and for the first time experienced a real academic challenge. She began to struggle a bit with calculus and it became more and more difficult for my wife and I to recall calc and very time consuming to do a poor job of teaching it to her. Middle Tree has provided excellent support and instruction that began with math and quickly became the go to source for all her academic needs. I was looking for a program that would give my daughter both enrichment and remedial help. I met with many tutoring places and I finally chose Middle Tree and I am very glad I did. My second grader really enjoys the tutors. They are very professional but also kind and funny to her. I have her go to the academy at least 3 times a week for two hours a day. Since going to the program for the last month her reading is much smoother then it was when we first started. It is hard to tell if it is the program, a sudden brain maturation, or all the work we have been doing with her ourselves. All I know is that in those two hours she is in the program she is reading without the distractions of electronics at home, or completing homework or practicing writing. We have committed to keeping our daughter for the school year in the program and we are very hopeful that she is going to make great progress and improve her skills tremendously. The only thing I don't like it is that it is a bit of a drive, but that is not the programs fault. Even then, I think it is worth the drive. read more
