I had my truck and boat stored here for less than 2 months and then somehow someone stole both. Amazingly they are now claiming their cameras have been broke since I first moved in. No information on how someone got through the security gate. Take a strong warning and stay away from this place. Since they advertise a secure location and fail to provide even a basic level of security I am in discussion with legal representation on civil litigation.

I will attach emails and photos to support my review as well but I have been waiting a month or a little over a month now to find out about the security system And what happened to the video footage that she was supposed to look over for me. After numerous emails that I had to send her she finally responded to let me know that there was no video footage of the attempted break-in. I am like beyond furious because I have been a tenant here for a very very long time and I've been treated like trash just like the place looks. A detective was assigned to this case as well and he was unsuccessful getting in touch with these people. I would love for the owner to read this review and get in touch with me because there's a lot more to it than just video footage. I have told them about the doors being damaged and all I get is schedule a time for us to meet to repair the doors. OK, I repair the door myself halfway because I want to know who tried to break in my unit. My door is still lock And why do they need me there to repair my door? My main thing is they advertise a security system that they obviously don't even have and then turn around and send me a notice that my rent is going to increase? Good luck with that. It's almost pitch black where my unit is as you can see in the photos and I've also said some thing about that numerous times. I went around to the side of the building and it looks like there's not even a meter there for the electric. I would not recommend this place whatsoever. This is a small town and I've spoken with so many people that know the code to get in this place. I've also told management about this as well. Before the Company eagle guard took over the gate code was 2017 and everyone is supposed to have their own individual code and it should be timestamp as to who goes in and when they come out. Unfortunately for some reason it's just so hard for them to change the code for this old one not to work in the whole town to be able to access anyone's unit. I think it's very selfish and wrong. They obviously do not care that an old access code that everyone in town seems to have still works to get in. I probably shouldn't post that but everyone knows anyway so who cares. My whole experience here has been nothing but drama since the new company took over and they claim they're doing renovations? It looks like garbage entering the property. Yes, it may be less expensive than other storage units around but I guess you get what you pay for right? Please go somewhere else and save your money and headache. There's a storage unit right up the road called Knight and Martin and they are super nice and there's also another place called River Road storage that's not very far away and they are very clean and the manager is very particular about the access codes and the security and who comes in and who comes out. I would definitely recommend those two storage units and please believe me when I say do not go to Eagle guard in Williamston, South Carolina. I have tried so hard to be nice and reason with management and it does me no good. She just doesn't care. So if you're a current tenant here I'll advise you to move out as soon as possible. If you are considering moving here then please DONT! I would spend the extra $10 a month and go elsewhere. Believe me, I would not waste my time and energy writing this big long review and attaching photos if it wasn't worth it or if what I was saying was not true. I would never post a bad review for the public to see if it was the non-truth.
