staff is inconsiderate and wait times are beyond excessive. I would recommend looking at other offices for a better overall experience.

Great doctors, PAs & nurses, and competent staff. We have never had a problem getting an appointment.

Midland friends: are you looking for a pediatrician or know someone who is? Let me tell you…read moresomething... Landon has been battling a cold this week, as many kids are. And also like many kids he was getting worse after the doctors office closed. I called the after hours line and Dr. Hulali (Kids Kare Pediatrics) returned my call, then proceeded to text me asking for videos and sound clips of Landon. At 10:30, he said don't take him to the ER but he needs to be seen now. Can you meet me at the office shortly? So off we went. He tested positive for RSV and Dr. Hulali sat with us checking his vitals and continuing to monitor him. Because of his symptoms, he was concerned about the severity and the threat it had to his respiratory system. Unfortunately, the medication used in breathing treatments (albuterol) can increase the heart rate and Landon was already over 200 so it wasn't an option. After his heart rate came down slightly, he said go home and get some rest but let's recheck him tomorrow and go from there. The following day we went back to the office only to be met by Dr. Hulali, his amazing and caring nurses, and his nurse practitioner (Jessica... the same NP who has seen Landon since who was a preemie and then guided us through him being readmitted for pneumonia) who I literally can't say enough kind words about. She is as amazing as Dr. Hulali. I can't stress the concern, compassion, and kindness each provider shows. I'm not sharing this because I feel the need to blast my son's illness on social media. That's not like me. Also, Landon is a champ and the kid is going to be more than fine. But as a parent, choosing a doctor and trusting them can sometimes be stressful/difficult. There are many good doctors, but it would've been so easy for him to say "take him to the ER". It's cold and flu season and doctors offices are beyond busy and healthcare workers are exhausted, I'm sure. When Dr. Hulali opened his office doors so late at night you could see his tired and red eyes. Jessica could've gave up after trying for his IV (dehydration) but instead she reassured and comforted Landon and me and said let's stop and try something else. These humans who work so hard during "sick season" could just do the bare minimum, but they don't. Landon matters. Dr. Hulali's patients matter. Jessica's patients matter. And that's what matters to me.

I honestly would like to say that this was a good place based on the reviews but it was not, The…read morereceptionist was nice and the doctor SEEMED nice at first but I went to take my son to the bathroom while waiting on results and he said to one of the nurses he thought my kids little bumps were from fleas (she freaked out) which FYI are not he has them bc that is how his body is reacting to the virus he has . so when he came back in the room I asked him once again what he thought they were and couldn't give me a straight answer it was basically i don't know. I went here for a doctors professional opinion and I did not get it. I have a VERY clean household despite what they may have assumed and that is not professional, I will not be taking my son back.

I have never been so offended in my entire life. We waited 20 minutes until 4:00pm before I sought out a nurse to check the status of being seen. She said she would check and be in. At 4:05 she walked in the room and said we arrived early for our appointment, that it was at 3:45pm and could we keep waiting. I said of course, yes. Now at this point it's important to note I have anxiety and adhd so it's very hard for me to sit still. She comes back at 4:10 (25 minutes past our appointment time) and said the doctors both got stuck in behavioral health evals and I was okay to leave. I said, "are you sure?" at least twice (anxiety) and said I didn't mind waiting. She assured us it was fine to leave. A couple weeks later I get a letter rejecting us from the practice because "I wouldn't wait 15 minutes past my appointment time." As noted above, we didn't leave until 25 minutes past. I called the office manager to politely clarify the situation, mentioning I have anxiety and the nurse reassured me several times it was okay to leave. She said she would call me back that day or the next after speaking to the providers and she never called me back. A week later I called again, spoke to the office manager, and was told I waited impatiently. I asked what she meant. She said I seemed impatient because I was shifting in my seat. I reminded her I have anxiety and mentioned I have adhd... that it is very difficult for me to sit still and I again reminded her that the nurse/doctor okayed me to leave. She said it didn't matter, they weren't taking me back and promptly ended the phone call. Here's my vent...Are you freaking serious? I have trouble sitting still because of a *medical condition* and you're ejecting my kids from the practice? You're punishing KIDS because I "Seemed" impatient!? I reassured several times we didn't mind waiting and that I wait 2+ hours for my cardiologist sometimes but that doesn't matter. I can't sit still so my kids can't see you? Awful hateful people. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because Dr. M is actually a really good doctor.

Receptionist took our…read moreinsurance card and told us we'd be called in a little bit. 10-15 min laters was taken back and vitals were taken. Shown to room and went through questionnaire. Then told once seated in a room that they only have one provider and it would be 30 min to an hour as they only had 1 provider. 10:15 I ask how long it's going to be and told it's going to be atleast another 30 minutes. So over 2 hours total just to be seen with a scheduled appointment. At that time I grabbed my 3 YO and walked out. At no time before the appointment was I told there would be a long wait. I was never given the option to reschedule. I would not recommend Pedi Med Center unless you have time to burn. Horrible scheduling and communication.
