The rank and file of the personal I have had interactions with are great, Tracey Thorsen, not so…read moremuch. She's the business officer in charge of approving financial aid applications. I am quite disabled diagnosed in 1973 w/RA. 50+ yrs later it didn't get better. In fact now I have painful neuropathy in my right side, need a knee replacement for a year. The pain can be excruciating. I can't work. I applied for financial aid in September. I had computer issues which has caused me to reapply because that's what Tracey said. I did but there's a document from the SD DSS that I need to get my application completed. Penny at the State tells me I don't need when I called. I told her that Tracey is anal retentive & insists. Well Penny didn't send it she sent me a new application There's a urgency to get some medical care & financial aid. Tracey apparently can spend 10 minutes on the phone with me telling me how she can't/won't call Penny & ask her to fax the document that would have taken 4 minutes. I understand that Dunes has been hit with a 12.7 mil judgement and probably shouldn't be approving financial aid. Tracey your lack of compassion & BS has led me to write this review. I will forward this to the US attorneys office hot line number at the bottom of the lawsuit article. Your not very Christian Tracy

I have had to call the office a few times due to side effects and the nurses are so great to talk to with Dr. Olsen usually returning the call to explain everything to you or the nurses go into such detail it's easy to understand what all needs to be done! I will forever stay with him!

I had once thought this place to be the best in Siouxland for eye care because the Dunes has good…read morequality in all aspects. However, to say I had a good time for this particular visit is far from the truth. I've had Lasik, mind you, so I don't have much to my prescription. But I needed the Rx to order contacts online. After making me wait 10 minutes and me visibly getting annoyed, asking when I'll be seen, they make me wait another 5 until the doctor sees me. The doctor himself was nice, gave good information. But afterwards at check out I had to wait. And wait. And wait. For the doctor to do what? Send over my Rx from the other room? I wrote down my email so they could send it because I couldn't wait longer. The WHOLE DAY PASSES and still nothing. I paid 100 dollars for these tests for the *SOLE* reason to get this Rx and I don't get it. I call again the next day to complain and they claim they didn't have my email. Bullshit. Get out of here with that crap. There's only a limited amount of people in that office so accountability cannot be an issue. Only after threatening a chargeback did they finally email me my prescription. After getting a snarky front desk lady. Lovely. Either this place had a bad day, or they're running things poorly. Regardless, no customer likes to be at the receiving end of that incompetence. This place can kick the fattest rocks.

Needed a last minute contact fitting and Dr. O'Neal was able to get me in this last Friday morning…read more The staff was very professional, new patient check in was a breeze. The tech was very nice and got all of the pre-work done with no problem. The technology at Dune Eye Consultants is fantastic. Everything seemed state of the art. We took images of the back of the eye without having to dilate. Dr. O'Neal was very considerate when we were testing my vision. I would definitely recommend going here if you need any sort of eye check up. I know I'll be back!

I have a lot of fluid in my legs and abdomen because I have liver disease. And my thighs are really…read more'chubby' because of the fluid so when I started to develop what I called 'bruises' all over my thighs and stomach (excess skin from losing 130lbs semi-recently) I just figured the bruises formed because my legs rubbing against each other. I went to show my regular doctor and she was really concerned so she referred me to a dermatologist since I didn't have one already. Dr. Grote took a look and was a little surprised/confused himself on what was on my legs, so we took a biopsy in two spots to get checked out. Aside of the pain from the rash (as it's now being referred to as) they biopsy didn't show cancer or anything else I should be super worried about, except both doctors here have no idea what this rash is. So they're sending me to Omaha to figure out what it is. So yeah, this clinic doesn't have the resources it needs for me, but I consider sending me to a specialist good practice because it proves the doctors care and want me to be well. (I just really want the pain.) Dr. Grote couldn't prescribe me anything because of my liver disease. The clinic is clean, the receptionist women are super nice and one of the nurses even gave me a bunch of good bandages to help me keep my stitches clean. (From the biopsy.) If I ever come across the need for a dermatologist again, I'll be heading to this clinic first.

Almost a year ago I went to see Dr. Grote because of a growth on my forehead. Two weeks later…read moreresults confirmed it was cancer. Dr. Grote was amazing to me and so was every single staff member. I was sent to a Plastic Surgeon and had surgery. Now here I am alive and cancer free nine months later. He is very warm and kind and I love how much they care and help.
