Here in Blair, Dr. Barta reviewed my x-rays, took his own, and told me that I didn't have any cavities and would feel guilty taking my money. He noted that some of my fillings were old, but replacing them would weaken my teeth and was not necessary. He didn't even charge me for the x-rays or taking up his time to review my teeth. This was the absolute best dental care and treatment I have ever gotten from any Dentist and I am 49 years old. The staff were very sweet and kind and talkative and made me feel comfortable. I did not feel any pain at all whatsoever because the dentist took the time to numb me properly. I plan to continue going to this facility for treatment for the rest of my time. I picked his office because I live in Crescent and the location was close! Boy did I get lucky! My tooth was missing a filling (it had come out a few months prior) and was also cracked. Therefore my pain. Dr Steiner patched it up to see if that fixed the pain and had me come back a few weeks after for a crown or a root canal depending upon how the tooth held up. Lucky for me - it was a crown. They prepared my tooth and made the crown - all in one visit - using the latest technology. I am thrilled! I ate a cheeseburger that evening after getting the crown at 4:30 PM. I think I've found my favorite dentist. Dr. Steiner is incredibly kind. He asked me several times if I was okay during the procedure. He could sense my trepidation of being in that dental chair and handled it perfectly! Probably not a tooth in my mouth doesn't have some filling or crow, so I know my dentists. Dr Steiner is probably my favorite dentist I've ever had in my life. He's an older guy in an older part of town, so appearances are so-so, but he really knows his stuff. Dr Steiner has gone out of his way to do emergency work on Sunday when my wife was in pain, he is a geniunely caring dentist, he keeps up with his research and doesn't stagnate. He's also got an awesome sense of humor and postive and happy outlook on life that makes him very likeable. To date, I haven't had any problems with any teeth he has worked on. He has saved at least a couple of teeth that I didn't think there was enough to save and he has an attention to detail that is above and beyond most dentists. One particularly difficult tooth I remember him redoing the mold 3 times because he wasn't satisfied with the impression. I can reccomend him without hesitation. I drive over 20 minutes to the dentist even though there is a good one almost across the street from me because of the quality of his service and his personality.
