They aren't scared or frightened--the environment is calm and welcoming, and the staff treats them with so much kindness. Even when my dog Koda was there to have surgery, he walked in happy and excited to see the staff and the doctor, without a care in the world! Honestly, I feel like he was more stressed going to some groomers than he was going in for surgery here. That says a LOT to me! Dr. Swerczek is amazing. He is calm, gentle, kind, and takes the time to explain everything. Most importantly, he listens. I never feel rushed, and I feel like he genuinely cares about my pets. And the prices are incredibly reasonable. I recently brought Koda in expecting to pay upwards of $500, and my total was only $245, which included his surgery, dental care, and nail trim. I was honestly shocked--in the best possible way! I truly appreciate having a veterinarian I can trust who provides excellent care without making me feel like I have to choose between taking care of my pets and what I can afford. The vet today from a different hospital immediately was able to diagnose these things and I am furious they were not found months ago. Separately, my father took his dog Lucky in to be put down several months back and the bedside manner of the veterinarian was disgusting. He was joking around with us during the appointment and said "Oh he's already gone" in a gross tone after my father through tears said "you'll be at the rainbow bridge soon". I am so angry with the awful quality of care and work they do at this place I am keeping myself from walking in and tearing everyone a new ass.
