They gave us as much time as we needed with him before and after. They even told us several times that we could leave after and pay later or when we pick up the cremation. I now live in Omaha, but I certainly would recommend this vet for anyone living in CB. They are very caring and understanding. For years they gave my best friend top notch care.

Someone suggested P.A.H. and fortunately/unfortunately they were able to quickly discover that my girl had really bad cancer. She was under from the exploratory surgery, but they kept her going so I could head back there and say my goodbyes. Hardest thing I've ever had to do. Dr. Dan and staff were very gentle and sympathetic. I called a week or so later to ask a couple of questions when I was doubting that I'd done the right thing, as that morning, my girl seemed in a very good mood. Dr. Dan explained that dogs are good at hiding their pain and when she wasn't around me, she was probably very uncomfortable - which made a lot of sense and made me feel a little less guilty. I'm miserable and don't really want to be around anymore, but at least they made her passing as bearable as they could, and I really appreciate that.

The doctor examined her mouth and immediately recognized that she did, in fact, have a serious gum infection. What really impressed me was that he actually showed me what he was seeing. Most veterinarians simply explain the problem, but he took the time to let me see it with my own eyes. As my cat's owner and "mom," that meant so much to me. It helped me fully understand what she was going through and made me feel included in her care. When I realized how serious the infection was, I felt terrible not knowing how long my baby had been in discomfort. The doctor was incredibly reassuring and compassionate. He also recommended another clinic that could remove the affected teeth as soon as possible at a very affordable cost. I can't say enough good things about this clinic.
