These girls are the sweetest piggies, and I would do anything and everything for them to ensure they have the best care. Recently, one of my girls developed a large abscess under her chin. I called my usual vet clinic only to be informed they do not have a vet to treat "exotic" animals. They're an amazing clinic but I was shocked to hear that a vet office did not treat any species besides cats and dogs. I was panicking because I knew my primary vet was very understanding of my recent financial struggles and no other vet would trust me like they did. Without going into personal detail on this review, I reached out to a few small animal rescues for help. Only one got back to me. I was not asking for any free services, just some advice/guidance/resources for help. I had no idea how few vets work with small animals. The rescue gave me information and i remembered that with my childhood guinea pigs, we used to take them to Best Care for vet appts. I took a shot in the dark and called them. They got me in for an appt the next morning. I was very honest about my financial difficulties, but also that I was also willing to do whatever I needed to in her best interest. Not to be blunt, but I was fully expecting to hear that due to her age/breed that she was hopeless. I was honest with the doc and staff. I told them I truly wanted what was best. I don't want her to suffer so I don't have to. Dr. Bremen was very understanding and gave options that were best for my piggie. I was given facts and her true opinion that these treatments are worth it for my piggies best interest. Ironically, it turns out she was even the vet that answered the questions for the people at the rescue that I had contacted prior! How cool is that?! We are continuing treatment for my piggie, and she has continued to be honest but also willing to give my sweet girl the chance she deserves to fight! Again, I do not expect any free services or discounts, however they have been so mindful of making sure to handle all treatments graciously and reasonably. I cannot thank Best Care enough. As soon as I am back on my feet, I look forward to donating back to them for patients in similar situations as me. Please keep up the amazing work you all do, and I hope you never go unappreciated!!!

Dr. Arndt went above & beyond to care for her & figure out what was wrong, leading to a rare & difficult diagnosis at the end of it. He watched her carefully, came in on days he wasn't even working, consistently called with updates, & even assisted us with the cost of Sosa's vet bills & hospital stays. Sosa is now home with us, finally back to herself with a treatable disease--all thanks to the vets' persistence & findings. They took their time and worked with her and were able to eventually get her comfortable enough to not have to wear a muzzle, which is a huge step for her. My opinion of Skyline grew even more when one of our dogs was in a car accident that required surgery out of state. Skyline was able to stabilize our dog and keep her comfortable until she could travel for her surgery, and were so involved in her aftercare. The vets, techs and front desk staff at Skyline went above and beyond for all of my dogs, which is why we decided to stay clients even when we moved further away. Dr. Sears is our vet and she is AMAZING, she takes the time to listen to your concerns and creates the best treatment plan for your pet and you. I emphasized this was an opportunity to get to meet the staff and speak with the doc regarding possible options for the management of this diagnosis. She requested med recs be sent before the client could be seen. I expressed that I was only looking to see if this would be a good fit and if the visit went well I would then be prepared to transfer the client to this office and have recs sent. She continued to tell me the client cannot be seen without prior records and vaccinations. I stated to her I have had the little guy for 15 years and can answer any questions the doc may have regarding history and therapies and again reinforced this was an initial visit and not requesting any treatment. She continued to repeat her request for records and I explained I did not want to request recs until I was prepared to transfer if this was a good fit. She stated the client cannot be seen without recs transferred. After much back and forth I informed her that if this initial attempt for a visit was any indication for future visits that this would not be a good fit. I requested the appointment be cancelled. It's terrible since this was a referral and I unfortunately did not have good feedback to the person referring. I have had many difficulties getting appropriate treatment historically for him and this is why I basically wanted to have a discussion with the team to understand whether there was an opportunity for the team and myself to be on the same page for treatment moving forward. Unfortunately this has catastrophically failed right at the gatekeeper Danielle. This is just my experience and take it as you will but if the face of the business doesn't get you to want to come in then the rest of it will be less than.

This is the first time we have taken our pets here since the former owner retired and sold the…read morepractice. Our cat had a routine annual exam scheduled. The staff is super friendly and helpful. There were some familiar faces from the previous practice. The new vet was kind to our cat and treated her as if it was her own pet. This is exactly the characteristics we look for in a veterinarian. We talked over next steps for our cats medical issues and we got out quick and virtually painless. The only minor concern is that they are more expensive than my previous family vet. Since our pets are our babies, we don't mind much as long as they are well cared for and help to have long and happy lives.

My baby Koda had a tumor in his mouth. I had gotten a first opinion but they wanted almost $700 and…read morewouldn't even consult. Just wanted to take him the day of and check everything out while he was under anesthesia. I came here for a second opinion because Koda had been here for shots and an ear infection. The doctor that diagnosed his ear infections said they were chronic and she did an amazing job. To this day, his ears are much better and hardly bother him at all. I went and got a consultation with the surgeon and he gave me best and worst possibilities. I was also only charged $300 for the surgery with pain meds and antibiotic. I am happy to say that the tumor was benign and the surgery went well. I am so happy with the doctors that work here. I picked up my baby boy and he was in good spirits and didn't even look like he had surgery. I am so thankful and will continue to use this animal hospital.

Get the bloodwork done, 170$! Of course i have to pay it, later that day i get the quote for a neuter. 440$. You're joking right? So i start calling numerous clinics to compare prices and eventually i call this clinic and get quoted 125 for a neuter and an opening the very next business day. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable, my cat is doing amazing the price was very reasonable. So happy i called them instead of paying 440 dollars!!!

The team at ACS were compassionate to Cid and to us. They surely deal with grieving people like us daily, but we could tell they really cared. They even sent us a card signed by all the staff with messages of condolences. I will be back after we adopt a new pet.
