We've brought one of our cats here twice now, and both visits have been very welcoming. I love that they write the pets' names on the chalkboard--it's such a thoughtful, personal touch. They even asked my daughter if she wanted a popsicle, which was very kind. We did have a bit of a wait to see the veterinarian, but we completely understood since it was a Saturday. I wouldn't say this is the most affordable clinic, but we continue coming here because it's convenient, and the staff has always been friendly and welcoming. read more

We've been taking our dog to Lone Tree Animal Care Center for the past couple of years, and our experience has consistently been positive -- especially with Dr. Emily. Our dog is very fearful at the vet, and Dr. Emily handles him with so much patience and intention. She actually sits down on the floor with him to help him feel safe, which says a lot about how she approaches care. It never feels rushed or clinical in a cold way -- it feels thoughtful. I also really appreciate the small details, like writing each animal's name on the check-in board. It's such a simple touch, but it makes the whole visit feel more personal. Pricing has been about average compared to other clinics in the area, and scheduling appointments is usually straightforward and easy. I'm really sad that I have to write this review. I've taken my dog to Lone Tree for about a year now and they had always been great. I don't know what changed, but about a month ago my dog started having some issues and they offered to send me estimates for different options for him. I never received these estimates. I reached out asked them for these estimates 6 total times over call, text and even in person and never received them. In the meantime my dog's condition has significantly gotten worse- which I had repeatedly told them when asking for the estimates. Fast forward to now, i've called them several times to ask for the estimate, and now to get his records so I can take him to a different vet. They won't answer any of my phone calls. I left a voicemail asking for his records and explaining that I am going to have to take him to a new vet because of their lack of communication. They finally sent me his records, but didn't acknowledge anything I had said in the voicemail. I honestly have no idea what I did to deserve them essentially ghosting me, but I am so so disappointed because I really did like them as my vet. read more

I feel super lucky to have found Lone Tree. My sweet 12 year old cat was clearly in pain and lethargic. I emailed Lone Tree and the let me know I could brig her in for a drop off appointment. Everyone I met was so kind and attentive. My cat is now on the mend, and I felt like the exam and med prices were VERY fair in comparison to many places in Omaha. I have seen Dr Emily for over 6 years. She has always made us feel so comfortable and treats my dogs, Diesel & Kona, as if they were her own. This past week Diesel ate some kind of toy & had to have surgery along with a 3 night hospitalization stay. Dr Emily & her staff went above & beyond to make us feel comfortable throughout the whole process by texting us pictures, calling us, and letting us come visit. Ava even came out to my car to help me get Diesel into the office. Great group of people and animal lovers here. Dr. Pumphrey, a relief vet, at first, then Dr. Whitehouse, and their excellent technician, Chelsey. Their staff is wonderful as well. Chloe, our 18yr. old female cat, who's a yeller, and persnickety, really warmed up to Dr. Whitehouse, eventually lounging on the counter, eating snacks & cheese spread. Dr Emily and the staff at Lone Tree are fantastic. I had just moved here from another state and my friend recommended her for my pups neuter. He had complications from healing and she was very caring and attentive to his needs and did not charge follow visits when I had to bring him in to check on his progress. I like that you can text them for appointments as well or if you have basic pet questions/concerns addressed. I dropped my dog off for a drop-off appointment at 8:40am and did not get a call that he was ready until 4:30pm. I tried calling in the afternoon to check on my dog and was sent to voicemail several times and never got a call back. .It is almost a year now (March 9, 2020) when Dr. Emily helped me say goodbye to my girl, Isabella Rose, who was loved for 16 years. Dr Emily had been caring for her in her declining years and through 2 strokes. I've never met such a compassionate Dr who treated Issie like the special pet she was.
