From day one, Billie and her team welcomed Oakley with open arms (and, I assume, a game plan for managing all that fluff). Now, every time we walk through the door, Oakley runs to Billie--yes, runs. That kind of excitement tells me everything I need to know. Newfoundlands aren't always easy clients--Oakley is big, strong, and occasionally "helpful" in ways that probably don't make grooming any easier. She isn't a show dog, so while her haircuts aren't always flawless, I don't expect perfection--I want her to be clean, brushed, and comfortable, and The Groomerzz delivers every time. I know she's a handful, but they handle her with patience and care, never rushing, always making sure she gets what she needs. I took them to PetSmart last weekend and they raved about how good she was and that it must have been the old groomer's bad energy that made her like that! Most places are an "in-and-out" affair that expects you to drop everything and rush to pick up your pet after they call to say they're done. Not at Park Your Paws...once they call, it's "take your time" since the dogs can hang out and play with other dogs. I can't give them a perfect score yet, cuz there have been a couple times where I wasn't totally happy with the groom a couple of my dogs received (Cavalier Spaniels can look like puff balls if it isn't done right.) But on other times, they've nailed it. SO, I say give them a try, be specific with what you want, and enjoy your day.

I sent her pictures and told her to contact me if there were any questions. I was unable to collect them so my mother went out to pick them up and pay the bill. Leah not only did such a HORRIBLE job grooming my dog that I was in tears, (I had to take him to another groomer that I trusted and pay to have him fixed, she said in her 35 years of dog grooming she had never seen a cut so awful), she also charged me 90.92 for grooming him (he is a labradoodle, but I was under the previous impression that the bath was free, not to mention she didn't clean his ears, trim his pads or his nails, ALWAYS included in a bath). When I confronted her she said she had charged me for the baths as they were associated with grooming, FOR BOTH DOGS, and gave me 30.00 back for my labradoodles hair cut. She refused to admit she totally tricked me out of money by charging for the baths this time around and 35.00 my other dog is 8lbs... give me a break. She refused to remedy the situation and I will never take my dogs to her for pet sitting or for gods sake grooming again, DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE, they are untrustworthy and bad ppl let alone the grooming skills were so horrible I still can't get over it.
