There are plenty of kids here who deserve a better education from respectable staff. And I​ state firmly the staff here does maintain true respect and responsibility. The glamor is only skin deep. A polite smile. I believe some staff deserve to be legally held accountable. Luckily the poor kids at the office cover all that up. If only most of the money didnt go into a poor building that leans. If only the staff wneren't needing strong words that are not used very often. I find it grotesque to even think of. Poor leadership affects all of our governments and neighborhoods. I hope you find a better place as I sure did. If you wanted weird you get more than your fill.

Poor guy, he was so depressed. All of that changed when he started going to Schelastic Academy. What a positive, safe environment it was for him. He worked hard, he persevere and grew into a wonderful young man. This school works with the kids so they feel loved and accepted. And their education programs thru the computer is self paced, but they do need to keep on top of their studies. I have enjoyed and love this school for my grandson. It will be a wonderful school to watch your child grow and achieve and grasp everything they can through Schelastic Academy.

The school has done very well accommodating her IEP, and when I had issues they addressed them in a timely manner. The only problem we struggle with now is the no cell phone law. I don't agree with no cell phones. I know it's a state law but I don't feel my child is protected. She has severe anxiety and wears headphones and listens to music, so I got her an mp3 player this year. It helps but if she needs me she has to either go to nurse or email me. Until violence in our schools is controlled, I think cell phones should be allowed! Teachers can manage cell phone usage in classrooms. Even most teachers disagree with the cell phone ban.

I was in the special needs class and the teacher for the B.A.S.E program at that time was Mr, harwell and he treated me horribly. I was constantly getting bullied and the teachers didn't even seem to care. they would not let me bring my phone to school so i can listen to music while i worked. They would not let me on my chromebook to work they made me do paper work and when i was on my chromebook they made me use a projector so they can watch what i was doing because of an incident that happened at burleson high. I was so embaressed and every time i went to school there it was a total disgrace. It made me feel like I am less of a human and it made me feel like i was a total piece of sh*t.

Not only was the birthday boy absolutely ecstatic, every single kid there couldn't get enough and all the adults loved it as well! I couldn't remember the name of our teacher but if I'm correct (based off pictures on the website) our guy was Benjamen and he was awesome! Very knowledgeable and cool with the kids and the animals. Speaking of animals-- my sister chose for Ben to bring in a Chameleon, Tegu, Bearded Dragon, Tortoise, baby Kangaroo, baby Hedgehog, and the scariest/biggest hit-- a Boa! We got to hold/touch/carry all that were possible. As "scary" as some of them were to the kiddos, the intrigue won over the fear. They were all huddled around each animal, petting them, and taking pictures! It was awesome! If you're lucky enough to have this option available around you for your kid's birthday parties-- I'd jump on it!
