Been going here for a year. The last few times the clothes have come back with red pet hair, lint and dirt/debris. They also lost a designer sock through wash and fold. Their response was to find somewhere else if we're not happy with their process. Accountability nonexistent. If you want a dry cleaner that gives your clothes back with lint, missing items or covered in pet hair (side note here is we have no pets) then this is the place for you. Im giving 1 star because as a laundromat I haven't had any issues but as a dry cleaner or wash and fold I've had enough. Especially after basically being told off when bringing to their attention the decline in the quality of service. A year ago my clothes always came back with no problems so I'm not sure what has happened but it's definitely gone downhill. read more

Opted for 2 stars instead of 1. Staff is nice and the place is clean, probably one of the cleaner laundromats I've been to. No AC ... 95 degrees outside and feels like 90 in here. There should be a giant sign that says no AC I only ever wash our rugs at the laundromats so I'm never really here. The last time I came to this spot was February when it was still nice outside, they had their doors opened and it didn't seem out of the ordinary to let the good weather into the mat. I have been in a pinch recently - roof leak into my laundry closet... thus no connection for the foreseeable future. I took all my towels, blankets, sheets, shirts, bath mats and not only did the owner NOT charge me, but I wen to the gym and came back and my clothes had already been dried. The customer service is excellent - the location is clean with nearby free parking. You can buy all you need on site and even pick up a coffee next door while you wait. A couple weeks back, my dryer decided to conk out and start acting funny. I have a lot going on in my life and just thinking about how much it may cost to repair was enough to send me into a panic. I've not been to a laundromat since I was a child, so I admit, I was a liiiiitle nervous about just rolling up to a random one. Soooo, I hopped on Yelp and let the research commence. A few of the places close to me had bad reviews (guns, robbery) and as a single lady that'd be going alone, those were big hell no's. I filtered by rating and stumbled upon this baby. What's crazy is, I've driven by this spot for YEARS and been in that gas station tons of times, but for some reason, I always thought they were only a dry cleaners. Fast forward to the next morning, I load up my car and make my way on over. They have their own parking lot and you can enter from the front (street side) or the back (closer to the convenience store) which is my preference. They were newly renovated this year, so the inside is beautiful. Nice stainless steel machines, exposed brick and drop lighting. As far as washing goes, there are 4 different machine sizes. 6 loader- $8 4 loader- $5.5 3 loader- $4 2 loader- $3 The dryers are all the same size, and cost 25¢ for 7 min. My favorite thing about this laundromat is that you can pay via the Huebsch app. No need to bring bills to convert to quarters! I never have cash, so this makes things super convenient. Additionally, the app alerts you when your clothes are almost done in case you wanna read or step outside for a bit. They have machines where you can buy supplies, plenty of seating, folding tables and laundry carts. The bathrooms are also spotless. I've been on weekdays and weekends and it's never crazy crowded. I enjoy coming here so much. The lady that supervises the floor is always super friendly and does a gre job of making sure things are running smoothly :) read more

I needed to wash some sleeping bags and my home washing machine isn't big enough, so I headed to Midtown to get it done. It's been a long time since I went to a laundry, and it's become electronic along with so many other things. It's also become expensive! You can still use quarters on the machines, but I didn't see a coin machine (and I did not ask if there was one), so I had to use the app. I hate apps, I really do, and I wasn't happy about using this one because it required a minimum $10 charge to my credit card. But that $10 minimum worked out perfectly because the large machine I needed cost $8. EIGHT DOLLARS!!!!! After using the dryer at a less killer .25 cents for 7 minutes, I was left with .50 cents remaining on the app. (No one was around for me to spread my .50 cent love or I gladly would have.) The machines all looked new or in good condition, and I had no problems using them or the app. This means a lot because I'm not easy with technology. I tend to get frustrated and wish for the old days before computers ran everything. But the process with the app and connecting to a machine was pretty easy. The cleaning area was fairly clean and there were chairs for sitting. There is a vending machine with cleaning supplies if you run out or don't have any. There were a lot of laundry baskets available and huge tables for folding. From a covid standpoint, everyone there wore a mask. This means a lot because I don't see this very often. There is always someone without a mask, but here, everyone had on one. And everyone seemed to be doing their part to social distance. Overall, a good experience and I would come back. read more

This has got to be one of the cleanest and coolest laundromats I've ever been to. Of course the times are changing to Im aware places that operated a certain way before or now modernizing themselves but this wash process was absolutely seamless for me as a first timer here. For starters Ms. Mina and Ms. Trivia were amazing! I called before I came because I was looking for a laundromat the specifically used cards (I hate having to get coins and we also have a coin shortage thanks to covid). Ms. Mins assured me everything would be easy and that she'd walk me through how it works if I came in and she did just that! Each machine is labeled with its own specific number. You download their app, create an account, and you can load money to your app via credit/debit, PayPal, or Apple Pay! They have 3 different size washer and 3 matching size dryers. I purchased (3) of their largest load washers for $8 and it took 25 mins to wash. The app not only allows you to pay but it also notifies you when your cycle is reaching its end! Which is pretty cool if you're working, talking, or out in the car waiting. The dryer is .25 for 7 mins. I purchased on their largest loading dryer. I spend $2 dollars to get all three loads dry in one dryer. The days of spending a load time at the laundromat are no more! Everything is now streamline and depending on your cycle needs can take max 2hrs! It's also important that I mention they have a cleaners attached to their laundromat and there are also 3 entrances (two in the front and one back entry) if you have a ton to wash I recommend using the back door so you don't have to walk far, but if not either of the front doors will suffice. Also parking is plenty and there are a few stores nearby in case you get hungry for a snack while you wait! I will definitely be back(: read more

I was originally using them for the laundromat services and it was always so clean and the staff nice and helpful, From getting stains out of table clothes to smells out of dog beds. I now use them weekly for dry cleaning. They're sooo great, fast and efficient. And The family who owns is just the best! read more

I have been coming to this cleaner for years, it's always been a great experience there. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. Today my husband came to wash before the last wash and the gentle man working there was very disrespectful, when he came in. shouting " ay migo ay migo you know we close at 7." Mind you two other people are coming in right behind also there to wash. First of all that so disrespectful. He could of approach him a different way. To think if he spoke to my husband like that how does he speak to the Hispanic who come to wash here. His tone was very aggressive. He probably felt like the big boss since the owners weren't there. Came here due to the great reviews. We had some clothes we needed cleaned. Upon arrival we were met with very rude customer service. It was very clear they did not want our business, we chose to leave our clothes with them any way. I called to check in because I was near the facility and again received a very rude response that my clothes were ready. They weren't. All my delicates were still wet. My heavy sweaters were put on hangers leaving obvious indentions in the shoulders that I haven't been able to get rid of. My pure white sweater is now pink, along with a button up, and a pair of light wash distressed jeans. That's over $300 of clothing that was ruined. My socks were just thrown in the bottom of the basket no effort to put them together was made. Extremely disappointed with every step of the process I had with this company. read more

There's no better feeling than having all of your freshly washed, dried and folded laundry finished, without having spent hours sitting in a laundromat. This was my first experience using Midtown Cleaners & Laundry after being referred by a friend who swears by them. I recently moved into a place without a washer and dryer in the unit, and the idea of sitting at the laundromat or remembering to go change out my laundry in the onsite machines just didn't sound appealing (first world problems, I know). I dropped off one of those big blue ikea bags that was overflowing with laundry. It included everything from jeans to delicates to towels. It was about 2-3 weeks worth of laundry. I dropped off around 1pm and my laundry was ready for pickup by 3pm the following day, cost around $40. Compared to the cost per load, time spent sitting around a laundromat, detergent, etc. I was satisfied with this price for a few weeks of laundry. I'll be a repeat customer. read more

I frequent this cleaners quite often. I have had no complaints up til now. I brought in 2 large bags of laundry to be washed and folded. When i returned to pick them up the owner repeated to me twice that the clothes were hard to clean. I accepted the comment the first time she made it as an explanation for not getting the clothes perfectly clean. The second time she said it before i could exit I felt she was insulting me. Your service is awful and they fact that it took you two years to respond shows how little you care. Do not go to this place unless you want your clothes ruined. I've found a cleaner on ponce that does a great job, is black owned (Mac-n-Jac Cleaners) and actually cares about customer service! Excellent, recently renovated laundromat with brand new machines. Spotless bathrooms and multiple tables and baskets for easy folding. Friendly staff and free parking on the side of the building. Was not very busy on a Sunday afternoon. They offer wash and fold and dry cleaning services directly next door. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area and come back here before the other laundromats I have used when needed. read more

Cheap and clean. You can either use an app or coins to pay for wash. There's also a coffee shop nearby which is convenient. One of the workers smokes, and it is very pungent. I suggest that whoever does needs to smoke further from the building and keep the cigarettes in the back away from customers. read more

With every single item of bedding dirty in my apartment, the thought of trudging downstairs lugging load after load to the coin op goods in the basement of my apartment building filled me with laundry-chore-dread. After a not so hot experience with another 'drop off' laundry service, I thought I'd give it one more go and headed to this spot on N. Highland. Laundry drop off is $1 per pound (ten pound minimum, I believe) and turnaround is FAST. Like, I dropped my stuff off 20 minutes before closing time and it was ready the next day. They also do dry cleaning with a slightly longer turnaround. Perfect, perfect for my fellow 'um no, I don't own a washer-dryer' friends out there. Much more satisfying than splurging on four dollar coffee. Roll around in your clean sheets without the inconvenience of dolling out your quarters and time! One thing I don't get, however, is why this is misleadingly called "Midtown Cleaners & Laundry." . . .it's clearly right next to Buddy's in the Highlands. Oh well. My whites were white and my blankets were fluffy and the customer service was fantastic. . . I'll let them call themselves whatever they want! read more

I swear I spent about 5 days worth of my life here between 1993-2000 cleaning clothes on the weekends. You become such an expert after time that you know to avoid their peek hours, because if you don't - you can wait, wait, wait and wait some more for an empty washer/dryer. I cannot tell you how incredibly helpful Meena Desai - who runs Midtown Cleaners was to me. My storage unit flooded and all of my husbands sports coats, outdoor coats, sweaters and button up shirts were soaked and had mildew on them. Overwhelmed by the mess I decided to go to the laundromat to see if I could possibly redeem some of his stuff. When I got there I realized that the laundromat was attached to the dry cleaner and that is when I met Meena. I asked her for her help and she went over and beyond! She went through every item of clothes and told me what I needed to do to try to redeem them. She gave me some of her cleaning products to use and walked me through every step. Then she air dried all of his clothes at her dry cleaner for a few days to make sure the smell was out and then dry cleaned the items that needed it. If it was not for her help, I would of given up and lost over 60 items of clothes. It was a lot of work, but we were able to save 99% of the clothes. I live in Buckhead, but have decided that it is worth the drive to come to Midtown Cleaner for now on because it is worth it when you find a business that will go over and beyond to help you. read more

I hate writing a bad review, but this was awful. I'm not picky at all but I walked in like 10 min before last wash, which I know can be frustrating but I had no choice. The employees glared at me my whole way in, then turned off the machines before I could use them and didn't greet me whatsoever. They instead carried on a conversation regarding and I quote "fucking immigrants" in the next room and everyone in the dirty rundown laundromat could hear the whole thing. Never again. read more

I love this laundromat for the convenience of being right next to Buddy's, however it is usually so busy that I avoid certain days/times... The parking is minimal (3 spaces + a handicapped space) & somewhat shared with Buddy's- maybe able to park there. Sometimes even when there are spaces, the interior of Midtown is full because so many people walk here. To do laundry here is a bit pricey- to do laundry every few weeks, I would spend $20-25/visit. It costs more (and takes at least a day?) to do the wash & fold service, but I think it's worth it if you have the $. I would trust the owners with my laundry. The owners are wonderful- cheerful, helpful, funny and prompt. The laundromat, being heavily trafficked, is cleaned pretty frequently by staff and occasionally has a broken machine or two. In between sweepings, it can get dirty enough that I don't want to drop clothes on the floor, but it's no big deal. The bathroom is minimalist- a utility sink and a toilet- but usually clean and in about ten visits, always supplied with paper. Usually I have to plan for a couple of hours to get it all done, including some time waiting for other folks, as they often leave their laundry behind... There's a sign on the wall that says not to leave them so it can be frustrating when every washer and dryer in the place is running except three filled with one absent person's clothes. Other than the occasional wait from the numbers of other people who frequent this laundromat, it's a great experience. I think it says a lot that it's sometimes too busy to do laundry- it's a great place, and all of us going there is making it worse. I'm looking for another laundromat! :\ read more
