Confession time..I've never been to a laundry mat or wash and fold as an adult, and had no idea which machine to use or even how much money to bring First, I'll start by saying the entrance to Laundry Lounge is at the back of Ansley Mall. The best way to enter would be from behind the publix. Also I didn't notice a lot of parking spots and I went pretty early on a Saturday. Once inside i walked around a little trying to figure out which machine to use. A nice employee came up to me and advised me of the best machine to use based off of what I was washing (which was a queen sized comforter and four pillow cases). The machine I needed to use was $8 (due to the size of the machine) and I only brought $3 with me lol So I had to walk to a surrounding store to get money back. I ended up using about $11.50 to wash and dry. The dryer was more pay as you go and you can extend time on the dryer as you go by adding more quarters. I believe 1 quarter = 6 ish minutes. There are two coin machines so no worries if you didn't bring quarters with you. I also noticed a area where you could steam which I thought was really impressive. There is also a very cute sitting area where you can hang out while your clothes wash. I loved it here and I'll be back soon to wash my comforter again! read more

Cute little place! We needed a large washer/dryer for our comforter instead of waiting for our dry cleaners. They're located in Ansley mall. You can drop off your items and enjoy time walking around the entire plaza of shops or wait inside their little cozy seating area. The gentleman who was there was super nice. In Atlanta for an extended business stay and I opted to do my own laundry instead of sending it out at the hotel. I found this little gem of a coin-op because we were working in the mall for a day. The short version of the review is: I came here on a Saturday afternoon with my one load of laundry and was in and out in about an hour. Painless. The long-winded review is this: Despite the fact that the individual shops at the Ansley Mall never seem all that busy, the mall itself always seems to be packed .. or at least the parking lot is. The day I stopped by was particularly hopping in the parking lot, yet I managed to find a spot just down the breezeway from the Laundry Lounge. The Lounge itself wasn't all that crowded, there were still plenty of empty machines and empty chairs. I was greeted by a super nice guy (Ray) and informed that if I had any questions, to just let him know. He was busily folding what looked to be uniforms for what I'd guess was a fluff & fold commercial client. I used the change machine, loaded the washer, dropped in the coins and decided to take a walk down to the other end of the mall to pick up some things at CVS. I liked that the machine display told me the wash cycle would be 26 minutes, so I knew exactly how much time I had. I made it back to the Lounge with 4-minutes to spare, grabbed a basket and moved everything over to a dryer. Plop go the coins and I took a seat in a comfy rocking chair and waited for my dry time to be up. Meanwhile, Ray had moved on from uniforms to table cloths. While Ray folded his table cloths, I folded my clothes up and he remarked that I was pretty quick. I said "I don't mess around!" (Look people, it's LAUNDRY, I find it's best not to take it too seriously) I loaded the folded goodies into my bag, bid Ray a fond farewell and took off. A little over an hour, around $5.00 total . and the company should be thanking me for my frugal approach to business travel (so not gonna happen). Thanks Ray. Location-- It is located in a shopping center with a Publix, Kroger, Starbucks, Panera, a gym... You could easily put your laundry in the wash, go to Starbucks, come back and switch it to dry, then go to Publix. It's really convenient to do your shopping while you wait. 4. Great local laundry mat...a little confusing to get to the first time but they have parking right outside. Drive on the side of publix then you will see the sign. They have machines that you can get changes from any bills. Plenty different size washers and one size dryer that would dry most loads with $1-$1.25. The only thing I don't like is the guy that works there smoke outside with the door open..if you are sitting at the waiting area, you kinda have no choice but to breathe in the second hand smoke. read more

Best customer service I've ever received at a laundromat. Someone is always available to help. I've come twice to wash several comforters. One of the managers offered to wrap each of my comforters in plastic wrap to keep them smelling fresh and clean while being stored in the closet. He also discounted a throw blanket I had dry cleaned from $35 to $25 because he thought it was too high. One of the dryers wasn't working so he kindly transferred it over to another machine and added 35 minutes. Free wifi is perfect when you're working remote.
