They explain over the phone what to expect upon arriving to the office. You call the main line upon arrival. A staff comes out and take everyone's temperature. Once clear, another staff comes out and bring in the patient. The parent can stay in the car or join their kid with mask on. Waiting area was cleaned and space our if a parent would rather wait there. Hand sanitizer is provided near the entrance for anyone to use. The staff here really makes this office special. All the dentist assistants are great with keeping the kids calm and entertained while they wait for the dentist. Everyone, from the ladies at the front desk to the hygiene assistants, to the dentist, are all great. On this visit we saw Dr. Chad Galbraith. He was great about keeping me informed during the visit on what he was doing and kept my 10 year old feeling comfortable sitting in the dentist chair for over 45 minutes. She had lots of work that needed to be done unfortunately. He even called me afterward to check on her since it was her first time using the laughing gas. The procedure was easy to follow and I felt good about my girls' visit.

We have been trying for years to get her to go to our regular family dentist and the most she would do is sit in the chair. I did a google search for a pediatric dentist that specializes in children with special needs and anxiety and Playtime Pediatrics came up as highly rated. Well they deserve that rating and higher! My daughter was able to go through an entire checkup, cleaning and even x-rays in her first visit. From the moment we entered the clinic, everything was relaxed and easy. Our hygienist Katelyn was so patient, positive and encouraging. She explained everything to my daughter and made her (and me) feel so at ease. Dr. Raylin was just as great and explained all our options for treating some cavities. We are beyond happy to have found Playtime Pediatrics!

Staff at front desk seem very friendly. This was a first time visit for my child and he can be shy and not great in medical settings. The assistant greeted us at the front and we were able to bring toys to the back. They like to take pics and weigh patients but my son wasn't into it so they weren't pushy. They spend time talking about dental habits and had lots of toys and stuffed animals to pretend to clean teeth. There's a TV and lots of books and toys. Definitely very patient staff! Dr. Ella Choi comes in at the end and is super friendly. We as parents assisted with the check up for assessing the mouth. It was quick enough that it didn't seem traumatic for my son. At the end, kids get to go to the toy chest for a treasure. It seemed like a positive enough experience that we booked for a follow up check up in 6 months time for my toddler.

My daughter moved to PDG when she was 3 because she needed some cavities taken care of and had to…read morego under and honestly it has been great since switching. Over the years some small cavities but they have been dealt with very effectively and with no pain. It isn't the cheapest option for dentist but I am reluctant to change because of the level of service they provide. When I was there I saw a Mom with her baby in a carrier bring her older son who was severely autistic, the staff handled it so gently and with great understanding, they must be receiving special training or are just naturally awesome.

I am never afraid to come because the staff and dentists are so nice. Dr. Scheidaman and Dr. Kennedy are really nice and don't hurt at all when I come to see them. My mom likes that the staff are always friendly, we never have to wait to long to be seen and that the office is always clean and organized. The tv's are fun to watch and so is picking from the Treasure Chest after my appointments.

While the dental care was good (nice hygienists, great dentists), their office policies and front…read morestaff are officious and have consistently left me feeling irritated and/or perplexed. They are sticklers about timing, which is of course understandable with a large practice, but they could be more lenient for those coming from the islands on the erratic ferries. I've been running 15 min behind on the ferry over, given them a call to give them a heads up, and then found myself begging them to accommodate a longer tardiness than their policies allow. When people take off work and school for many hours to travel to the dentist, some additional grace would be appreciated. Perhaps the message is that they don't need islanders. Anyway, my kids have all graduated from this pediatric practice (happens at age 14 - be warned!), so now I can speak freely. I never had any doubt about the quality of care; it is just the way patients are handed otherwise.

Nurses don't know how to operate the glitchy cumbersome x-ray machine and had to irradiate me twice with x-rays while putting me in a very awkward position. When I try confronting them , they brushed it off completely by saying they have not done this and they are not responsible for that . One of the dental staff member over there instead blamed me and said I must have scratched it . The scratch scar would go away , but this scar is still present 3 months post treatment. The Dentist said he will send me to oral pathologist to find out more . I have to pay out of my pocket for this oral pathologist appt who said the scar is result of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation which clearly indicates it is post that visit , but my question. is how would I get scar on my face when the treatment is inside my mouth to fix the cavity . The clinic never messaged me back after my oral pathology appt . Worst place to go
