They were courteous and ready to help us in a tight timeline. I gave my son a watch for graduation the night before the graduation ceremony but didn't fit his wrist. I called a few watch / jewelry stores in Gainesville via google search for option. The first two were a disappointment. I asked a for simple quote on being able to add 1 or 2 links to a new watch with one store wanting to charge $45 for a 5-10 min job and the other vendor would not even bother to quote. Oaks said cost will be around $20 depending on complexity but it is a new omega speedmaster and we know it is straightforward to solve. "We know he wants to wear for graduation so just come in and we will adjust it while you wait" That is exactly what they delivered and very satisfying to make it easy to do business with people who understand service and sense of urgency. Running low on gas and a truck full of random odds and ends, we stopped to try to make a sale. Richard wasn't interested in buying the items we brought in but when he saw we were stuck he offered to look through the truck to see if he could buy anything to help us get home. Richard not only got us the $25 we needed to drive home but gave us really awesome prices on our stuff....and a gas can! Ive never have I had such an incredible experience in a pawn shop.
