Very expensive place to get liquor. It's almost 3 dollars per tall boy. Also, the older women hung up on me.

Not perfect, but close by. It's located in a lake community so for the neighborhood it's convenient.

I planned on getting my nails done and then picking up a bottle. As I was in the nail salon he came in and yelled at me to move my car. I complied but questioned why, letting him know that I frequently shop there. He said he didn't care and that I needed to move anyway. As I was going to my car I said "I guess I'll have to find a new place to buy my liquor" which he responded to WORD FOR WORD saying "That's fine, I don't want your business." Okay, you don't want it, you don't have to have it. I also hope this yelp review helps others find another place to go too. PS, Shoprite liquor is right down the road with a much better selection and much better prices.

We thought without a reservation at 7p on a Friday we would probably have to wait awhile, when we arrived the parking lots (front and rear) were nearly full so we expected a wait. We were pleasantly surprised how many tables were still open both inside and on the patio. We only waited about 5 minutes to be seated. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the sides were just as good! Pricing was very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food. We will definitely be returning.

My dining partner was happy with her calamari, that came in a plentiful portion. Service was fast on the beginning but we had to find the waiter to get our check. Asked in the beginning to split the bill, but waiter forgot ( I think out original waiter off shift) and we had to request it again. The slower service towards the end of the meal may be attributed to it being the middle of the afternoon, between shifts, and a slower period. My dining partner loves this place and had great things to say about the owner, and the support he provided front line workers during the pandemic. Ambiance is casual, with an extensive bar and seating. More parking in the back down the hill, in back of the restaurant.

If you haven't been, I'm sorry. If have, rejoice and know the chef, Skip, who happens to be my brother-in-law will enjoy his retirement after a chaotic, non-stop last month. I stopped in for lunch today with my good friend and struggled with what my last meal should be. I opted for the Chicken pot pie and corn fritter. It was light, flaky and delicious. The corn fritter came with maple syrup and brought me great joy. My friend went with the pork Milanese which was huge! It came with mashed potatoes and veggies. She definitely will be having a second meal from that pork cutlet. She also ordered a Reuben to take home for her hubby. Sorry, no photos of the sandwich. The service is always top notch and the drinks free flowing. Stop in if you can. But know the wait will be lengthy but worth it.

Nice bar, and good selection for wines and beer. Parking is street parking mostly and they have couple of parking spots to the side of the restaurant. Genuine hospitality that welcomes you like they've known you forever. You are going to ask why you haven't been here many times before after you visit. Everything is of quality and fresh. The menu is concentrated offering a nice balance of traditional items and Irish dishes. The Potato and Leek Soup is made very well with such a clean smooth broth and plenty of potato and leek present in the soup. Try the Cajun Chicken and Sausage gumbo was a nice option offering Big pieces of Chicken and Andouille Sausage. Nice kick but not overwhelming. Clams or Mussels appetizers are on point and worth sharing with the table. The Corned Beef and Cabbage dish was amazing and definitely NOT bland! Lean Corned Beef and fresh hand cut veggies make this a must have! The NY Strip, is tender, cooked perfectly and recommend having the whiskey sauce over the top! For $38.95 it is a bargain! Highly recommended as it literally checks every box for me. Will definitely return!

Our server, Kim, did a great job running the bar. Not only were the drinks well made, but she was super friendly. I had the Chicken Parm (with a substitute of a side salad only) and the lady had Fish and Chips Here is the pros and cons. Pros. THE PRICE FOR FOOD IS BEYOND REASONABLE!! The cocktail sauce definitely seems homemade and has a great kick to it. Fries were had a good crisp and the fish was pretty good. The side salad was very good and was a decent portion. The chicken parm and fish portion was a very healthy size. The whole ambiance of the place reminds me of places from my childhood and that makes me happy. Cons. The fish could have been a slight bit moister but over was still good. The chicken parm was a bit bland in flavor and a bit thick in breading. Coleslaw, with the fish and chips, was definitely store bought. Overall, the place is worth the stop on through if you are on a budget or like place that remind you of an era gone by. but still want to eat out. Just remember that it is a CASH ONLY place. This is worth stopping on in at least once! We will be back to try other food!
