Local liquor store with friendly, helpful staff but their prices are much higher than a Bottle King or Gary's. I was out of my area and on my way to a bbq and need to stop here. We were shopping in Denville for small business Saturday and I needed to pick up some beer for our second Thanksgiving. Wow, this place has a very nice selection of beer and a great wine selection for such a small place! The gentleman working today, I assume he's the owner, was very helpful and told me he'd basically order anything I needed. This is why I like supporting local businesses...you rarely see customer service like this in big chain stores. This probably won't become my go-to liquor store, simply because of the location, but I will DEFINITELY be back and will stop here when I'm in Denville. read more

Nice small liquor store right on the main drag in Denville with decent craft beer options. Located on Main Street in Denville, this is a small beer/wine/liquor store albeit with decent selection. My focus on coming in was on craft beer - they focus mostly on 6-packs of bottles, carrying Dogfish Head, 21st Amendment, Samuel Adams, and other good offerings from their 8 (or so) refrigerated cases. Friendly staff, decent wine and liquor options, perfect for a quick pick-up for a BYOB restaurant in town and is definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. read more

Great Service and Selection!!! Stopped by Denville Liquor wanting to find something other than the usual beer choices most stores seem to push. I was amazed by not only the great selection of craft beer, but the one on one attention I received; this store goes above and beyond. WOOOOW, all I can say about this place in a good maner. Stoped by here on Sunday 02/17/2013 and was amazed by the selection of beer this guys keep in their coolers (one of the best I have seen). Also a very good wine and champagne selection for any occasion. They keep a lot of white wine in refregirators redy to go for your BYOB nite at many local restaurants. That's what I end up getting, wife's request))). Prices are good too. And If you are looking for a premium brand of whiskey this store has a lot to offer. Very clean and rustic-industrial looking place with polite people runing it. Overall very satisfied. read more

It's a good little liquor store, right on main street. Many of the restaurants in the area are BYO, so this is the place to go first. They have a ton of beer and wines you actually want to drink (and not break the bank). read more

This store has been under new ownership for a few years now and the owners take their wine, beer, and whiskey choices very seriously. The old owner used to sell cheap wine and considered Coors to be a top level beer. The new owners installed a state of the art beer cooler and now have one of the best beer selections in the county. They also have a great variety of wines that are affordable. If you are from out of town and are going to visit one of the many BYOB restaurants in Denville, I would suggest stopping by this place to pick up something to go with dinner. I went here looking for Hibiki 12 which is a very popular, hard to get Japanese Whiskey. They want, as of last Saturday, $200. I just got back from Gary's in Madison and the same bottle is $80! As I said, this is a very hard bottle to find. To charge over double what other liquor stores are charging is absolutely absurd! read more

Decent enough spot. They're located right in downtown Denville and it's a pretty small shop. I stopped in looking for something very specific as a gift and they had it. Boom. Was in and out. Prices seemed relatively reasonable. I didn't buy any beer but they had a decent craft selection for being as small as they are. They accept credit cards. read more
