This review is for the vapor e-cig category the shop is listed as, the shop also has water pipes and other smoking related materials, it looks like a fine general smoke shop that has a good variety of products but not truly a full fledged e-cig shop. What they have: all in one devices for the newbie a few varieties of e-cig fluid aka juice, some knock off mods, branded aspire products, the g pen, a few dry heb pens, the Pax portable dry herb vaporizer, the volcano. The e-cig devices fit on a scant few shelves, they dont sell ego batteries, tanks or replacement coils (but shopkeeper, you should). If you're out of juice, this place may sell something you like, but it's hit or miss, you cant try the flavors, but the price for the juice is relatively low. Since there are no vape lounges and only one other shop I know in the area on 9th and 44/43, and a dedicated vape shop on 50th, this place may be what you need in a pinch, but if you need parts, tanks, a new battery, you'll have to look elsewhere. Miidtown needs a Haneley's vape style lounge like in Soho. read more

I was a cigarette smoker for over twenty years, however after trying the brands, I was amazed at how precise the flavors where, also being a Brooklynite born and raised, I was a wee bit skeptical at the prices so I got on the Internet and compared Midtown Smoke Shop vs. the Internets prices, I was shocked at the price difference far and away MIDTOWN SMOKE SHOP was much cheaper and easier to deal with! Simple midtown smoke shop, I only come here for juulpods. They have a very fair price compared to everywhere else in midtown which loves to overcharge. The only two problems I have with it is it's pretty out of the way, and they don't regularly have stock in the flavor juulpods I want. read more

I like this place because they sell my Virgin Vapor Plum Crazy. It's not that easy to find and the upscale vapor bars stopped selling VV not because customers don't like it but because the distribution is so incompetent and frustrating most owners just give up. Two owners of large stores told me this. It's ironic, therefore, to find this organic premium vegan vapor (100% vegetable glycerine vs 50/50 or 70/30) at a store that sells tobacco. The prices are terrific too. It's much cheaper than in LA and if you buy in bulk, they give you a break. The only other choice for me is in Astoria. Nothing against Astoria, but I ain't traveling 45 or 50 minutes on the train to get juice. read more

Today I went to replace a defective product I bought two weeks ago (with receipt in hand) and he said he could not help me and I would have to contact the manufacturer myself. Zack has been so helpful to me every time I go in! Trying to finally stop smoking, I have purchased all the vapor necessities over the past year, but Zack helps me change the coil and cleans my device. I like this Vape Shop a lot. They're willing to get stuff they don't have on-hand, they let me try new flavors sometimes, and their selection is pretty comprehensive. You may not find the Lava DNA 200 here, or maybe you will - you never really know what you'll find, which is cool. But - you can definitely always get good stuff and the service is great. read more

They sold me a year old expired product. I didnt realize till I tasted a burnt acrid taste in the smoke of my ego e-cig. I checked the back of the package and the date was early in the year of 2015. I double checked my calendar and, yes, it is 2016. I didn't think I would have had to check. I didnt think they would have had the audacity to do that to a customer. I could have just walked a few more blocks to get my refill. But instead, I just threw that money down the drain, into this flawed economy. You have to blame this system of free market capitalism. What can I do about an "on the corner store" placed in the middle of the block. They have to make their money somehow. And if their products aren't being sold, they'll have to store them and wait for a sucker, like me, to pawn off to. I really like these guys and this shop. Every time I've been there, the employees are always cool and helpful. I like how they also sell their products for the actual price they are and don't jack it up like some other places I've been to especially in the west 4th st area...
