The location is clean and the equipment is up to date. The environment here is one that makes patients with discomfort feel more comfortable. Melissa is very warm and helpful at the front desk. Scheduling and payments were always easy with her, and she would get to the bottom of any question I posed. I had two therapists during my month of rehab: Stephanie and Dan. They are both charismatic and easy to talk to during my trips there. They manage multiple patients at once while being sure to give the appropriate amount of individualized attention. Stephanie is thorough and great with exercises and paperwork and Dan is a very strong therapist, which was very helpful in my case. I have low back issues that were pinching a nerve causing pain down my entire right side. The two of them helped to alleviate my constant torment and give me some great reminders of what to do at home as well as positive reinforcement while at the clinic. I admire the way Dan manages this location because everyone enjoys being there, from the employees to the patients to my poor son who had to wait for me on his best behavior. While he can come off as a bit cocky, I prefer this demeanor from a surgeon. This shows me that they don't accept a failure or mistakes. My surgery went well and recovery wasn't too bad either. For anyone else with sesamoid problems, I highly suggest seeing Dr. Kazmer for such a complex issue. Started experiencing extreme hip pain in November of 2024. Quickly spread down my leg and I was…read morerapidly losing mobility. My partner had to take off work to take me into appointments as I could not walk on my own nor drive a car. Dr Alpert suspected herniated discs and a nerve pinch and referred me to Dr Matteini, she dismissed me and told me I had "inflammation of the hip" and sent me to PT. The PT told me immediately I had a pinched nerve and needed an MRI before they could help me. Went back and saw Dr Kogan who said to my face "what do you expect me to do about it", only gave me an MRI referral when I refused to leave until he did so. MRI showed 2 slipped discs pressing on a nerve. Was forced to do more PT, and 2 rounds of steroid injections before begging for surgery. They do not put you under at all for the injections, I have a severe fear of needles and a panic disorder (they were aware of) and was reprimanded for quietly crying during the procedure. Even with my history, they had Dr Matteini preform the surgery and she never acknowledged misdiagnosing me. Received surgery in March of 2025 and still have severe pain and mobility issues. Every follow appointment I was made to feel guilty and like it was my fault. No sympathy for ruining my life. I couldn't leave my house besides Dr appointments for 7 months, I missed every holiday and important date. Do not go here. They don't care about you and shouldn't be doctors. Had they listened to Dr Alpert in the first place, my life could be so different today.
