We bought a sectional on 10/27/19 with a 5 year warranty. We filed a claim around September of 2020…read morefor our couch ripping at the seam of one of the cushions. We were told the warranty could take up to 90 days, however it's been almost 10 months and apparently it still hasn't been reviewed. A few months into the claim they even told us it's been accepted and the couch is on the way to the store. We have heard several excuses such as "the couch wasn't on the delivery truck," "they don't make the couch anymore so it's taking longer," "there's a foam shortage," "they can't get ahold of the person who handles the claims," etc. About a month ago one of the employees told us we could pick out another couch. The next day we show up to pay for the difference of the new couch and we were told the claim had to be accepted before we could get a new couch (which I understand but up until this point I thought it had been accepted.) Worst place to do business with! Plus, the furniture isn't very good quality anyways. You're better off spending a few more hundred at a superior store!

Had to go with an after market so we could get our bed put together. I had two pieces of furniture left to receive and it finally came in beginning of August. I had ordered a dresser and matching chest. But when I got the bill the chest was almost $1700.00. That was not the price when I ordered it, but could find the info so I had to make a quick decision because they wanted paid to deliver. So I switched to a different chest in my price range so I could get my clothes off the floor. Good thing I was home because they were going to leave my dresser and chest the two pieces in the driveway. Of course it rained over 2" an hour after they left. Then I was going back through my paperwork and found the original Chest I had ordered. It was on sale for $639.00 and not $1700.00. The chest I chose on line does not match my furniture in my rush to pay them. So what would you do. I'm asking that they get me the original chest for $639.00 that they were trying to bait and switch for $1700.00 and pick up the other chest. I've emailed Robert Mullen now 3 times requesting that they need to make things right. Haven't heard from him yet. Other that the chest for $1700.00 they now don't have. My experience thus far is not anywhere near a favorable rating.

Beware - Defective Mattress, Restocking Fees, and No Accountability…read more We bought a Nectar mattress from Mattress Firm for my 80-year-old mother/grandmother. It arrived with a huge dent in it, clearly defective. When we tried to return it, Mattress Firm refused to waive the $250 restocking fee--even though the product was not usable. We were told the mattress had been "sanitized and like new," but that was not the case. Their solution was only to offer store credit (minus the fee) instead of taking responsibility for delivering a defective mattress. After researching them on the Better Business Bureau, I discovered they have a D- rating with many similar complaints. In the end, she was left out $800. For an elderly customer on a fixed income, this is not just unfair--it feels predatory. We will never purchase from Mattress Firm again, and I strongly urge others to read reviews and research complaints before buying. Companies of this size should be held accountable for their practices.

Recently our Bosch dishwasher stopped working. It took over a month for someone to come and take 10 min to say the pump was burned up. ($97). We were then told it would take up to 6 months to get the new 800 series that we wanted. We went to Lowe's and they had the exact same dishwasher in stock. It was also $700 less! My plumber installed it and we are very happy with our purchase at Lowe's.
