I work for a landscape company. We have an old, beat-up pickup truck that is used for random tasks. We've easily wasted hundreds of dollars trying to get it started because of worn out parts in the key tumbler. I called Midwest Locksmith and the dispatcher stated a tech would be out in 25-30 minutes. Ben pulls in within 30 minutes and reassures me he can fix our truck. I leave him to it and get a call 20 minutes later stating he is all done and the truck is fixed. Ben walked me through the reason we were having the issue and what he did to fix it, along with taking pictures throughout the process. It only cost us a little over $300 dollars and genuinely saved us much more. This is a great company and will be the first people I call if I ever need a locksmith again. read more

Business is shady no doubt. Tech stated when he arrived it would be $240 to make a key for my 2014 Chevy Camaro and it MAY OR MAY NOT WORK. If it doesnt work it'll be another $60 and of course it didnt work. That whole senerio is off. So he made another key and said my total owed was $300 I handed him $300 cash and asked for a receipt. Then he said if I want a receipt then I have to pay tax. What a joke. Stay away from this shady company. If he's willing to rip off the IRS then he's willing to rip off his customers like he did me. BEN was great. he came within 30 minutes. He was so friendly and professional. they are getting all my future business.

First off, the lady on the phone said they'd call me in 5 mins and I didn't get a call back until 45 mins after and I had to call again. 2nd, the lock smith guy refused to give me an estimate over the phone. He then said he would be there in 35 mins and took an hour. Once he got here he took one look at my car, said 220. At the end it ended up being 270 something. Way to upsale AFTER the fact.
